It is more true about Venezuela more so than Panama. Don't forget that Panama men's national football team qualified for the FIFA World Cup in 2018.

With Costa Rica and Panama displaying solid mettle, the warning to Jamaica is clear for 2026 WC.
At the moment Yard is behind the 8ball to qualify and their house is not in good order.
If T&T can get their football together, I see them being favored over Yard for that coveted
spot for CONCACAF with USA,Mexico and Canada already there as hosts.
I do not have much confidence that the Yard will qualify; the same clowns are in the Front Office
and in charge and any new coach will be swimming upstream all the way.
Other countries even smaller ones in the Eastern Caribbean are making strides in their game
and outlook and Central Americans Guatemala and Honduras are sure to offer stiff
competition when things heat up.
Yard better get its s....t together .

Bravo Uruguay,I always make it a point that Uruguay is a tough bunch of footballers and difficult to beat on their day.I always think that Jamaica and other Caribbean countries should employ Uruguayan coaches. We would all learn to defend like giants, and that has been our downfall for years especially TT.Our natural attacking instincts will just need some minor adjustments.

Yard has a very good bunch of players and it should never be difficult to make them matchwinners against any Central American team,I can't understand their bad showing against teams in the COPA America, look how well Canada did, the same team that Jamaica came from behind to beat after being 2 down. That's a result that makes any football fan reflect on as a great victory, that victory alone boaded well for their COPA America,It's a surprise for me and I'm sure for many others, especially Jamaicans.Maybe Jamaicans who are in the know will be more than able to explain the problems.

Jamaica has the talent to be among the top 4 in CONCACAF.

But there are too many issues, sometimes too many at the same
time ,that leaves everyone bemused as some of these issues are
very elementary and usually emanate from the leadership.

Until things are set on a consistent even keel, Jamaica's football
will remain an enigma with lots of ' what ifs'.

ISSUES,that seems to be the same with TT.I read the TT football website and really cannot understand why so many issues,football-wise some pointing at officials,I also read the Reggaeboyz site and it seems the same.I still wish and hope if one of our countries qualify for 26 I'll be very happy,if 2 qualify I will be "over the moon".

Steupes. Come on man. Canada were never REALLY in that game.

They got chances near the end because Argentina knew they had already won the match and their defenders were playing flicks and back heels etc IN THEIR OWN PENALTY AREA and lost the ball.

Argentina did what they needed to do to win the game and no more.

And you and Canada’s commentators talking about the ref. They didn’t say a word about the ref when Peru went down to 10 men early in the 2’d half

They had nothing to say when Chile went down to 10 men midway through the first half on an extremely questionable call. Even before that red card, a Canadian defender blatantly elbowed a Chilean in the face and didn’t even receive a yellow (that was an immediate red card).

Canada and their commentary team cry all tournament. They scored 2 goals in 4 matches despite being a man up in 2 of those matches. They beat a Venezuela that is lower than them in the rankings on penalties.

They overachieved for sure……but they were also extremely lucky
