In the Stephen Lawrence case.

From Wikipedia

Starmer practised predominantly in criminal defence work, specialising in human rights. He served as a human rights adviser to the Northern Ireland Policing Board and was appointed a Queen's Counsel in 2002, later citing his work on policing in Northern Ireland as being a key influence on his decision to pursue a political career. During his time as Director of Public Prosecutions, he dealt with a number of major cases including the Stephen Lawrence murder case.

Lets see if the lawyer man can do better than the finance guy!

Some how, I think Sunak should be given a longer run, but the Brits have spoken!

Sir Keir Starmer, now the leader of the Labour Party, played a crucial role in bringing Mr Lawrence’s racist killers to justice, after years of failings by the Metropolitan Police

Also, about 10 percent of the cabinet attended private schools—the lowest percentage of any UK cabinet since…whenever…and in line with the wider UK population.

The new deputy PM grew up in council estates (public housing) and had to overcome the challenges associated with having her first child at 16 (which she was able to do with the support of government programs).

He was also involved in adopting Zionism and the forceful removal from those who protested, and this is where I depart from him while recognizing he did good in other areas.

He had adopted Tory's policy with respect to Britain's support for Zionism and the genocide.

Lets see if the strong showing of labor and the independents MPs can beat so e sense in him.

Local attorneys: New UK PM a champion for human rights

NEWLY-ELECTED British Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer, KC, has been hailed as a champion of human rights in the Caribbean region by several members of the local law fraternity, with which Starmer, a former director of public prosecutions (DPP) in the UK, has strong ties.

Starmer worked closely with Allum Chambers, being based there whenever he was in Trinidad and Tobago. Persad said he was well regarded in the Privy Council for his work in human rights in the late 90s and early 2000s, particularly in challenging the mandatory death sentence.

Starmer gave his services pro bono in several regional cases involving the death penalty. One of the more notable ones was the 2004 Barbados case of Lennox Boyce and Jeffrey Joseph v the Queen. The Privy Council held that the mandatory death penalty was protected by the “savings clause” in the country’s Constitution.

Newsday understands Starmer addressed the Hugh Wooding Law School in 2011. At that time, he was Britain’s DPP. He told law students a prosecutor has a broader role as an official of the law court than simply being an advocate for the state. He said they had the role of advising the police, ensuring evidence is lawful, ensuring a fair trial and upholding the rights of victims and witnesses

I have never voted Conservatives in 45 years that I have lived in England but I have to disagree with you,for a start Sunak was better than Liz Truss and Boris Karlof Johnson,he broughtI am being very objective here,if you dislike him for other reasons please say, down inflation from 12 to 2 %,prices started to come down, energy bills were coming down, improvement in employment, boat people numbers were dropping, what else do you want after only 20 months. If you don't like him for another reason don't be afraid to say.

his wife is Jewish
Please note he is not as popular as you think his total share of the vote was way below what Corbyn achieved
He has however benefited from the fptp system
