Although the idea sounds good, Kamala has too much to do in too short a time to take on the full role of president and run a campaign. At 2 o'cloc this afternoon her whole life changed.
She immediately had to think about close advisers. Does she currently have the right people around her? Should she reinforced them with people to help her through the convention and knock back those who might want to oppose her? These people should be advising, as of this day, which person(s) she should consider as a VP, should she gain the nomination, not someone force on her because of the urgency of the situation, but someone who complements her during the campaign and a future Harris adminitration.
This woman has too much on her head at the moment. Let Joe Biden finish his term, and assume the full power of the presidency just given to him by the Supreme Court - executive actions on STERIODS, and dare the same Supreme Court to say a Democratic president can't do the things they would want a MAGA president to do.
Have you thought as to why Republicans are saying Biden should resign right down? It's because they are (1) afraid of what he might do now that he's not running and (2) they would like nothing more than to gum up the works in the House for the transfer of the presidency to Harris in the middle of a presidential campaign.
Harris is going to have too much on her plate between now and Nov 5, to be concerned about the full role of the presidency in these circumstances.
