The Positive Aspects of Shyamala Gopalan Daughter's  Speech

Harris's joy and enthusiasm on the campaign trail have been widely noted.
For those unfamiliar with this side of her—or who only recall her rigorous questioning of Supreme Court nominees—this speech was a revelation.
Harris exuded confidence, appearing comfortable with her identity and fully embracing the historic role she now occupies.
To be so composed and prepared just weeks after her sudden rise to this position is an achievement that few could replicate.

Harris's Impeccable Delivery
In stark contrast to the error-ridden and often painful speeches delivered by the previous two elderly presidents, Harris’s address was flawlessly executed and engaging.
Her narrative about Trump’s threat to democracy was refreshingly straightforward, warning, “Just imagine, Donald Trump with no guardrails.”
Responding to long-standing calls from within her party, she avoided delving into policy minutiae and instead focused on aspirational goals, offering a clear and concise vision.

Key Moments in the Speech
One particularly powerful moment came when Harris asked, “Why exactly is it that they don’t trust women?”
Here, she employed plain, direct language that struck at the core of the issue.
However, the speech wasn’t without its conservative elements—such as her approach to foreign policy—which likely left some of her party feeling unsatisfied.

Harris's Stance on Foreign Policy
In a reversal of past criticisms that Democrats were too lenient on authoritarian regimes, Harris argued that dictators perceive Trump as “easy to manipulate with flattery and favors,” positioning herself as a champion of American global leadership.
She offered a vision of the future and promptly moved on, leaving her audience with a clear sense of direction and purpose.

The Impact of Harris's Speech
Harris's speech not only solidified her position within the Democratic Party but also set the stage for her future endeavors.
Her ability to connect with the audience and articulate a clear vision for the future is a testament to her skills as a politician.

The Historic Role of Kamala Harris
As the first woman of color to be nominated for vice president by a major party, Harris's speech was a historic moment in American politics.
Her ability to navigate the complexities of her role while maintaining her authenticity is a testament to her leadership abilities.

Conclusion
Kamala Harris's speech was a defining moment in her political career.
While there were areas where she could have provided more substance, her overall delivery was impeccable.
Her ability to connect with the audience and articulate a clear vision for the future is a testament to her skills as a politician.
As she continues to navigate the complexities of her role, Harris's influence on American politics is sure to grow.

Her mothers daughter

Shyamala Gopalan's journey from India to the United States, her groundbreaking work in biomedical science, and her role as a mother and mentor make her a remarkable figure.
Her legacy is one of resilience, innovation, and inspiration, and her impact continues to be felt in both the scientific community and beyond.
Shyamala Gopalan, a distinguished biomedical scientist at the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, was not only a pioneer in her field but also the mother of two influential daughters, Kamala Harris and Maya Harris.

Shyamala is a testament to the power of resilience, intellect, and dedication, and her legacy continues to inspire many.
Born in India, Shyamala Gopalan's academic prowess was evident from a young age.
She pursued her education with zeal, eventually earning a scholarship to study at the University of California, Berkeley.
This move marked the beginning of her illustrious career in the United States. Shyamala Gopalan was more than just a scientist; she was a devoted mother to Kamala and Maya Harris.
Her dedication to her work and her children set a powerful example for them, instilling values of perseverance, education, and social justice.
Kamala and Maya Harris often speak of their mother's influence on their lives.
Shyamala's commitment to social justice and equality inspired Kamala's career in politics and Maya's work as a lawyer and public policy advocate.
Her legacy lives on through her daughters' achievements and their continued efforts to effect positive change.

The sisters spoke very little of their father , it begs the question where was the  father on such an historic day?

Excerpts and precis of an incredible family.

Who wrote this BS? Not you hopefully. Which two elderly past president's made error-ridden, often painful speeches?
Where is the dad? Hasn't Kamala when it benefits her goals mention her dad taking her to see Bob Marley, show pics with him through all phases of her life, mention they spent weekends and summers with him while growing up? Hasn't she mentioned he helped shape her taste in music, teach/tell her to run and be free. Her auto-bio states she feared her Mom wouldn't turn up to her high school graduation because her dad was flying from Stanford CA. to Montreal to be there?
One may ask what kind of dad does that?

Anyone who wants to know can know that the man says he is not into politics and limelight.

Who knows? The clown still refuses to include a link as a source then complains when the rebuke comes.

Halliwell? Are you there?

Then again, would it really be a surprise if STD wrote it?

I am here
That article is shite and borders on racism

Why isn’t she her father’s daughter or even a hybrid of 2 upbringings.

Did she grow up for a bit in Jamaica? Or India?

Divisive shute. Mods, delete that crap! Please.

I never understand people who believe that to herald someone they have to put down others

...

.The sisters spoke very little of their father , it begs the question where was the father on such an historic day?

No one answered the question?

The comments above are laughable.

The daughters noted they were raised by a single mother.
She instilled dedication, drive to succeed and be what ever they wished to be.
A daughter first love is her father....did they express such at anytime.
Notice pictures of their graduations , it only shows a smiling Shyamala.
Did anyone notice ( parent) the sisters praised during their respective speeches.

you are either deceitful or lack basic comprehension. If she won custody of her daughters and did not remarry then yes she is a single mother. If Dr. Harris did not win custody of his children how then can he have raised them and be their primary influence. On what idiotic authority is a daughter's 1st love her father? If you did your research you'd see pics of her with her dad taken just before the 2019 primaries (when it was most useful). The man is old-school Jamaican and his rebuke re her weed comment must have hurt. Yet, even after that she still mentioned him on Thursday.

Again, the man stated clearly time and time again, he is neither interested in politics nor the limelight. He doesn't even show any pic of himself receiving The Order of Merit Jamaica's 4th highest honor and one that can only be given to a maximum two persons at a time and one that no more than 15 persons can hold at any given time.

To be honest yuh soun' like a chupid race-biased R%$s

.....

Freudian psychoanalytic theory proposes the idea of the "Oedipal complex," where a daughters' attachment to her father during the psychosexual developmental stage.
Fostering a healthy, supportive father-daughter relationship can have a lasting positive impact on a daughter's life.
Carl Jung developed the theory in 1913.

No one has provided an explanation why the father was not present...

Why am I responding to responses that completely disregard the heading of this thread but attack the writer...sigh
Wonder why I ignore such posters.

You are a clown. Whose name do they have despite being married? Whose name does Maya's child have?

Either you wrote that garbage or you took it from Indian newspaper. We can't tell since you didn't cite a source.

You don't what any of these people. I don't comment on Kamala too much, but I remember the talk of 'If Willie so much as jay walks, arrest him'. DWL

As mentioned before, that public rebuke for reducing Jamaican culture to weed smoking would sting even the least malice keeping individual.

You love to put down anything remotely connected to Jamaica.

That time you gleefully posted a bad review of the Bob movie as if it meant anything was hilarious. Still it made nearly 200mil at the box office

Relatives from India ( Canada) were present..

I didn't copy such from anywhere. The pseudos' intellect here are astonishing.
One is not allowed to have an opinion here...must adhere to the herd mentality
They still haven't explained why the father wasn't present...?
I am aware why and its not what is posted above.

Be careful , you may be attacked as I am...cool

Is that the very interview where Kamala's Chitti says Don is a very nice man? Uncle is an engineer and other aunt accomplished too.
