For all the challenges he experienced, he ended up with a decently good career.
Thank you Shannon

I was wondering about the big man. I always thought he was too brawny/burly...but, I think I was wrong when I looked at Kallis.

Came relatively late to cricket. Made his test debut at 24
11th highest wicket taker (166) ever in tests for West Indies.
I would say more than a decent career.
Exceeded expectations
Walk good Shannon and thank you

Started out as a fiery pacer but injuries stalled and interrupted a good part of his career.
Was very good when he bowled with pace and rhythm. Good luck to him - hope he can mentor and coach the up and coming youth pace bowlers in Trinidad.

honestly i never though gabriel would last as long as he did. when he was fit, he was definitely much more than a handful as Sri Lanka and England's visit here showed in 2018 and 2019 respectively.

"you always gave it all and never left us down"
Except in the Dominica test match where he left Chase on a century not out with 6 balls remaining to draw the test match against Pakistan.
Other than that, thank you for your service!

Many thanks Shannon...knew from the outset you would have a good career as a fast bowler..
Tough with the injuries that prevented you doing better.
However you should be pleased with your returns and enjoy the remainder of your life
and the path you pursue.

A potential great, reduced through injuries.
He will always rate very high on the Windies pacers list.
I give himself that 'Great' title,
just like Bishop, with both carers reduced through injuries.
Bless up bro and happy retirement.
I hope that you find a role in Windies / TnT cricket.

Hall instead of Boyce. You got the names right except for Boyce, but not in the right order.

No place for Croft?
Didn't play long enough?
Rebel tour?
How about Ian Bishop?

Croft has INSANE NUMBERS!
Only played 27 tests.
He and Bishop (who also played a relatively small number of tests) have off the chart numbers

Not the most gifted or easy on the eye in his bowling action but wholehearted an gave his all so thats all you can ask ...an 166 test wickets @32.21 ...SR 56.5 an econ 3.42 is not the worse.... i can name a younger more athletic more natural looking bowler who at this point Av .SR..an Econ are worse.....so i salute the big man an wish him all the best for future ....nuff respect Shannon!

Our decline could have been delayed had Bishop not got that injury.

Well done good and faithful servant. At first I never rated you but came to both respect and admire you. Though not athletic you obviously put in tons of work to become a good international cricketer. Gibson was the first to pick you. But as is usual with WI cricket after being dropped it took too long and too little help to revive your career. With a better admin you'd have been in thev200 club.
