I agree. I also have a problem with that. We also don't know how she will gel with the team, having retired in a huff because she was overlooked for the captaincy.

I am not upset that Dottin is back in the side. As long as she is fit she plays in this West Indies team.
Obviously, there are no issues with regards to captaincy as she will be playing under Hayley Matthews with the Melbourne Renegades in the WBBL immediately after the World Cup.

Players walk right back into WI men's WC teams, so it's nothing new. CWI is consistent at being inconsistent, when it comes to selection.
