Allen has downgraded himself throughout his T20 career, he usually bats too late, he is a better batter than a bowler, but seems to like to bat late in order to slug

Looks like Fab Allen doesn't do well unless he is being led by Rovman.

Look out, he might make the transfer next season.

Yardies continue to flatter to deceive and holding down our teams. Hope Fabien is not another one like Bonner, Oshane and the like.

Brandon King may well be the exception but he is injured.

Fabien Allen is not a good player of spin.

Do you all remember the match against Sri Lanka,
where he was in partnership with Holder?
Jason faced Wanindu Hasaranga last over and shielded Allen.
Allen went on to win the game in the next over.

In an interview after the game,
Holder said that Allen told him that he could not read the spinner, so he did not want to face him.
Fortunately Holder faced all 7 balls (including a no-ball free-hit 6).

Allen is ok and he is recovering from a serious injury.

Just bring a wrist spinner on and the likes of Allen and Powell will be back in the Pavillion in no time.

What about Odean Smith?

BeatDball 2024-09-04 12:13:16

I have mentioned this...it's very risky, firing crossbat/swiping against spinners!

I assume after death of his father.....he took a break....but since despite sincere attempts he has not found his rhythm back..... it's basically mental.....

At least Allen and Powell trying... can't say the same for Odean.

De man does look like he's in a different world.

I am surprised that Allen got a Big Bash T20 contract, but good luck to him. He hasn't done anything recently to impress anyone.

Fab Allen CPL 2024

24 not out in match #1.

11 not out in match #2.

1 and out in match #4.

0 and out in match #6.

Batting looks out of sorts but I would say his bowling has improved from the matches I watched. Let's give him some time.

Cant agree with you. He is better batting late after the spinners have done their bit. But Falcons generally have got it wrong with their line up. They do need some hitters further up the order. Not sure why they are playing Primus if he is going to bat as low as 9. He could give the innings a boost higher up the order.

Bonner should never have been anywhere near T20. OT being from Ozland would be licking off heads.

Fabian now, is he being used properly? Or is he an Autherton?

jahmekyah 2024-09-04 23:23:53

As everybody knows jamaicans cannot play cricket, Rovman even got criticize for being too trigger happy after the first game

Different individuals handle their personal losses in different manner....
Greatest golfer...Tiger....after his marital problems... virtually got grounded.....
Greatest cricketer...Sachin....1999 World Cup lost his father....returned to play after last rites.....scored century...

Allen is gritty individual....but getting his mojo back ....is very tough....wish him luck....
