There is something special about Mikyle Louis.

I like what I am seeing.

He should turn in to an all-fornat playa fa Windies.

A little coaching and he will be fine.

Good discovery there VOR

He’s playing like he belongs.
I’ll keep an eye on him for sure.
He’s got that kind of effortless power…

Think might be the first time I've seen him play love at a professional level and he really looks solid. Just need to know which ball to play st sometimes. Cause from what I see some the shots he out himself basically.

He’s coming for red ball cricket.

Nice to hear this ‘lickit’ for him is just a stepping stone.

While I agree that lick-it cricket is not real cricket,
I like when a player transform from red to white ball.
I see this stint as a confidence boost which can: -
increase his power strokes,
boost his confidence,
increase his rotation of the strike ability, and
be a good steeping stone for his 50 game game.

I like that Louis is not just swiping,
but playing aggressive strokes and rotating the strike.

His fielding is also good.

needs to work on his technique he can only play off the front foot in attack and defence which is odd that is going to hurt him in red ball cricket

Batting coach needed bro.

Barbar Azam is a front foot player too.

The main point is to play late, which means picking up length early.

So they do not hit 6s and 4s in red ball the real cricket?

T20 is here to stay, no red ball in Olympics.

His 50 on Debut was even better. He brought out the shots and did use his feet to the spinners. Mikyle will do well across formats and I will go further to say that Mikyle must be groomed for captaincy of SKNP.
Mikyle 50 on debut

In 100 years of cricket, the Revo gave us four greats, it is time allyuh up the anti because it was Antigua that produced the greats.
Who has the Windwards produced?
Sir Frank must be rolling in his grave, looking at how a group of Islands cannot assist the region in producing world-class players.
I am tired of hearing Free Loader speak of cricket, produce International players PLEASE.

Very impressive performance from a relatively inexperienced cricketer on a difficult batting wicket. Mikyle will go far

M. Louis: For the first time in 12 years I've seen a WI batsman I want to see go places. When you playing off the front foot with such organization for a tall batter you going find runs in more difficult places. Let me see how he does away from Warner Park as SKNP hits the road.

For his fond admirers let me warn you: the usual suspects are having a look at him AND are quietly liking what they see. lolcool

What's there not to like? Youth is the real deal. Knock today was a responsible and calculated one. His team was in trouble so he took his time and took on the bowling at the end.
