Sherfane Rutherford is leaving the St Kitts & Nevis Patriots squad due to personal reasons and will take no further part in the 2024 Republic Bank Caribbean Premier League (CPL). The Patriots will name a replacement in due course. 

So does that mean he has automatically disqualified himself from representing West Indies in T20 this year, since we don’t have a regional T20 competition? Since it is for undisclosed personal reasons , I have to conclude that some of our guys seem to be bigger than the game of cricket or even seem to be behaving as if they have a serious mental problem

If for family reasons why not say so? To just walk out from a contract for personal reasons makes no sense. I am a fan of West Indies and knowing our history with our players is my personal concern

Fans have a right to question things and even come to conclusions when information is not given. Withdrawal from a franchise contract for personal reasons is cause for concern especially with what we have been through with players like Bravo, Hetmyer, Kieran Powell, just to name a few and later when we heard of the personal reasons it was heartbreaking and not in the best interest of WI cricket

Finally someone post it... minutes after the release he commented under a post here in Guyana saying stories got two sides.... even posted a story on his page saying "lies".

Eventually he removed them... I'm guessing someone advised him to remove it.
