If I hear Biden call for a ceasefire again…

…my head is going to explode.

It will not happen, not anytime soon, and especially not before the Nov. 5.

Bibi sees this ongoing warfare in the middle of an US election as working in his favour, if not Israel.

His wiping out of the Hezbollah top leadership and his devastating destruction of Gaza, if not Hamas, go a long way in his goal to emasculate the Palestinians and eventually, as is his hope, to drive them across the Sinai desert.

Biden and Harris have to constantly repeat the mindless and meaningless call for a ceasefire, primarily to appease progressives and Middle East supporters in America in hope the they will not stay home from voting in the Nov. 5 election, and to limit Jewish support for Trump.

Bibi finds himself in a sweet spot after all the damage he has done so far. Less chance for the criminal case against him coming up soon, he puts Biden/Harris on the backfoot, while hoping all this works in the favour of his next choice for the WH, Donald Trump.

In Trump, he hopes to get the idea of a two-state put to rest and his real hope for a greater Israel from the Jordan River to the Mediterranean Sea enhanced. From "River to Sea". Remember that call? Supposedly dynamite coming from one side but soothing, calm and reassuring words coming from another side.

This war is never and will never be about an eventual peace, just the emasculation of one side, their dreams, their hopes as they thrive for a nation state like all other peoples. Theirs cannot be achieved if it conflicts with purpose and goal of a stronger side, backed by even stronger partners.
