Da Silva leads new-look Red Force


A new-look Trinidad and Tobago Red Force side will start their CG United Super50 title defence against the Combined Campuses and College (CCC) on October 29 at Sir Frank Worrell Memorial Ground, in St Augustine.
Joshua Da Silva will lead the team that includes off-spinner Bryan Charles, all-rounders Johsua James and Jyd Goolie, top-order batter Isaiah Rajah, and wicketkeeper/batter Amir Jangoo.

Due to a scheduling clash with the West Indies international fixtures, the Red Force will be without Akeal Hosein, Nicholas Pooran, Evin Lewis and Jayden Seales for most of the tournament.

RED FORCE SQUAD: Joshua Da Silva (captain), Khary Pierre (vice-captain), Amir Jangoo, Jason Mohammed, Jyd Goolie, Tion Webster, Bryan Charles, Kjorn Ottley, Isaiah Rajah, Terrance Hinds, Anderson Phillip, Yannic Cariah, Mark Deyal, Joshua James.

Whey Evin Lewis? Where any young spinner? Since when Goolie is an allrounder?? I suspect he meant to say Webster?

I have seen Goolie bowl already in Regionals but I just cannot remember what he bowls,either left arm orthodox or off spinner.He did get wickets though.Good question,where de hell is Evin Lewis shame on dem selectors.

Goolie off spinner......a very good middle order batter....part of 2016 under-19 world cup win....
