Wasn't Beaton called again recently for pelting? Why is Guyana persisting with him?

Very good question, why persist with someone who has repeatedly been called for an illegal action, isn't there other economical pacers in Guyana? Also, it will be interesting to see how effective the team will be in the power-play with Nandu and Chanderpaul being the opening batters

Will be interesting to see how Thorne goes. I’m not entirely convinced about him in the white ball format.
He still seems to bowl a lot of wides and no balls and I’m sure in trying not to it affects his performance.
Hopefully he can put this right

Don't get the Beaton selection either... it's a backward move.
Time to move on from the dude.

Most notable omission is Akshaya Persaud... he decided to go with CCC instead... second year in a row he refused selection.
Refused selection last year and CCC ended up not picking him... let's see if they do him the same thing this year.

Savory and Imlach playing in the same XI for a few years now... both of them could make that squad as a batsman alone.
Imlach will most likely be the wk for the tournament.. Savory will play as a batsman.

He's not that quick.. was always low to mid 80s.
Which good performances in t20s are you talking about? Bish saw him in the nets and was impressed... Tyndall is yet to do anything impressive at the inter country level in any format.

Dude that's club cricket... if the inter county quality is poor you expect that to be of any quality?
Look at the scores in that match... Tyndall never took more than 4 wickets in a match at the inter county level.

I think he is on a contract not sure... but it's interesting indeed.
Everybody used to question his spot when Seeram was picking him and he wasn't earning his pick but over the past two years he earned his spot and now he's refusing selection.

Most of the players made it to this level through hardship..
Sinclair
Keemo
Thorne
Problem with some of them is when they reach to this level they start to forget all that hardship and relax... I wishing Tyndall the best though I'm hoping he lights up the tournament.

Ronaldo was a former WI U19 player... dropped off the scene for a bit and now he's taking it seriously again. Hoping he proves himself in this tournament too.

Tyndall case is different....... Guyana board virtually manhandled him....
The residents of the Manchester/Ulverston area would like to express our disgust at the incompetence of the Guyana Cricket Board that affected our young villager, Sylus Tyndall, from travelling to Jamaica to represent his county in the West Indies Cricket Board Under-15 tournament. Editor, Sylus is from a very poor family, who did everything possible to obtain the necessary cricket equipment, national passport and other items, only to be disappointed owing to neglect of duties by officials of the Guyana Cricket Board.
The Guyana Cricket Board should also refund the Tyndall family all their expenses or face a legal civil matter. The sad part of this entire matter was the carefree attitude of the Guyana Cricket Board officials who were all present at the National Stadium enjoying the perks of being a cricket official while a young man’s dream was destroyed.
