Teams for inaugural Global Super League
In reply to anthonyp
Guyana Amazon Warriors are the current CPL champs? What made them eligible for this tournament? CWI allowing this bull shit? Even if GAW are participants they should make accommodations for the current champs, no?
Farcical and not even a ball bowled!

I don't mean to be a spoilsport. but none of these teams are current T20 champions and it makes me wonder if this isn't a poorly envisioned splurging exercise or an attempt at making a genuine cricket product....i mean rangpur riders and most BPL sides are very substandard. Victoria bushrangers is a provincial team which i don't believe has a t20 side anymore since the BBL became franchises instead of provincial/shell teams so they'll be coming up with a team specifically for this tournament.

Titland should start one and show them how it's done.... all the best in the world will turn up to the spiritual home of t20
It's the first year. I'm sure if the tournament grows you will see the first choice teams turning up. They invited the champions for a number of leagues but they refused because it's an unknown league that is now starting up.

Leff dem.....
I posted before ...last time a T20 Club team from Guyans ventured internationally...it did not go so well.
.... the great Sarwan was on that team
but I still like Foo...to this day.

Do these teams have enough of a base to attract decent viewership globally?

we doh have money for that right now lol and the TTCB actually invited hampshire to the local t20 tournament about 15 or 16 years ago. they had a legends team with walsh and ambrose that played an exhibition and that was the first time Shanon Gabriel played in a t20 competition. CNMG(now TTT) broadcasted it. his action was a lot more taxing that it became. my dad said he never thought he'd last as long as he did when we first saw him in that tourney
