Pooran to be retained by Super Giants for over US$2 million
KOLKATA – West Indies superstar batsman Nicholas Pooran has reportedly been re-signed by Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) as their first-choice retention for the upcoming 2025 Indian Premier League (IPL) season.
According to reports, the 29-year-old wicketkeeper-batsman was recently in the RPSG group’s office in Kolkata where he reportedly signed with Lucknow for INR 18 crores, which equates to just over US $2 million.
In the 2023 auction, LSG bought Pooran for INR 16 crores following his stint with SunRisers Hyderabad.
“Pooran is committed to LSG, possesses a winning mindset, thinks deep and above all he is adaptable to the batting order and any match situation,” said an LSG official.
Pooran had a superb 2024 IPL season, scoring 499 runs inclusive of 35 boundaries and 36 maximums.

But at the same time don't burn the rope, which help you during your trying days.... accident......., few seasons back released by Rajasthan Royals for poor form... returned to play 50-overs regional... regain form....but unfortunately, now holding training clinic and unavailable for West Indies....

Who for ,not you I hope.
Is that U$ or £?
Keep hearing £ when other's salaries are mentioned.
If I was he, I would retire after this year and focus on red ball cricket.
Become a true great of the game.
Sadly,that will never happen.

West Indian selectors are nasty bad minded people who will kick you out at the drop of a hat, remember one player got dropped for the way he looked.N.Pooran don't have to prove to anybody that he is capable in any form of the game,if any batsman can play the shots he plays then Test is no problem, there are people though, who try to put their spin on denigrating the game, mainly jealous ones.Test batsmen have time to settle also the same with test bowlers,LO and T/20 players do not have that luxury, they get paid for their brilliance.
