KINGSTON, Jamaica — Many-time champions St George’s College, have been knocked out of this season’s ISSA/Digicel Manning Cup after a 3-0 loss to reigning champions Mona High in the round of 16 at Jamaica College’s Ashenheim Stadium on Friday.
The North Street-based school were 2-0 down going into the break after conceding to Mona’s Demarion Harris and Denzel McKenzie.
Things didn’t get any better for last season’s beaten semi-finalists as they were reduced to 10 men inside the first five minutes of the second half when Adjani Peart was shown a straight red card. Mona then added further misery when Javier Dunn netted in the 87th minute.
