...15M democrats didn't vote. A bunch of evangelicals refused to vote..well because some of them do follow christian principles and do not support Trump's shenanigans. Kamala received less votes than Biden 2020. Trump 2024 received less votes than Trump 2020.
SOMe people don't want to admit it ...but this election was largely won on the promise of a reduction of the blackening/ browning of America and return to the power structure where the white male can run amok in the world without consequence as they have historically done.
The fact that Trump was able to convince these folks that the economy is doing badly..when by most metrics its doing quite well is instructive. The economy vote is a smokescreen.
The extreme left ideology didn't help either; abortion and accusation of a forced transgender agenda scared some potential more conservative votes away from the Dems.
At the end of the day there is nothing (well almost nothing...he is a human being after all) about Trump that I could support from a leadership perspective.
The DEI concept of intersectionality is what got Kamala in the end.

All this to say a vast majority of Americans don't read and educate themselves about relevant issues.

You need a basic level of education in the first place, to understand that you need to read and educate yourself
They lacked even that

There are many persons who are totally happy with ignorance.

I don’t know how abortion became a political subject.
It is up to a woman whether she wants to have a child or not
It is mostly in the US that is a political issue.
Same thing with transgender. It is a personal matter
What I may have issue with is their participation in sports wrt to whether they participate with men or women or in a transgender category
DEI is a smokescreen for white supremacy and there is little any black person can do about that
In reply to Cheeks
There is no extreme left in American politics, it is more of a Republican smear label, on the issue of abortion Dems gained more support that they lost.

the attack on DEI.
In reply to Fantom
That white conservatives use DEI demeaningly to suggest especially black persons got positions not by experience and education but by colour and affirmative action ahead of white male candidates when whites have traditionally got high ranking jobs through family association and social contacts
In reply to sudden
I don't disagree.

Understood. Thanks. I thought you may have been questioning the sincerity of liberals of whatever hue pushing DEI.
