The Muddies have only one win after 5 games but are in third position because of bonus points. This makes no sense.

Bonus points should be multiplied by wins…wins should be the main driver of points….it makes no sense to reward teams for not winning.

I support the concept of bonus points but they should be the gravy on top of victories not substitutes for lack of winning

it is there to reward excellence in various departments which is good for cricket development

why is it flawed?

i dont think it is flawed. I think that it is primarily developmental and that is appropriate for cricket at our stage where winning a regional championship means little when the better players generally dont play anyway.
