Brandon is too inconsistent. Got a fortunate hundred in the ODI, where its best he focuses on that format. With all due respect I thought Andre Russell would have been World cup and retire. He is on the decline and seriously an injury prone player. Terrance Hinds at this level? Not sure he has that kind of pedigree but he will have to sit for Aljo.

Powell will need to win a toss

the wet conditions in 2nd innings means you can't defend

I'm not a Johnson Charles fan but I would consider him as and opener for the remaining matches. Especially after the CPL he had.

I would also consider calling up Obed McCoy.

They need to come clear on the Hetmyer issue. If management don't want him around then say so and replace him in the squad.

This would be my XI for the next match.

Well Cariah might get a recall... they won't go for Walsh Jr because the coach already took some licks for that pick lol

Some already calling for Motie head too.. saying he's expensive these days. Might have to set Jeremy on them lol

The bowling unit is young however the good news is that we are heading home to the home of the Champs SLK which features the two WI pacers Aljo and Forde who are familiar with the conditions.

In reply to doosraWhat has Cariah done in T20S? Did he even play in the CPL. ODI cricket I could see him making a return but T20I no. I am even flirting with the idea of Motie opening the innings with Evin. Gives us room for another bowler. What you think?

I think Johnson Charles is still recovering from a surgery or he would be a shoe-in for this team especially after his CPL.

We cannot go forward with this bowling. Bring in Obed. Other than that the cupboard is empty. Motie is obviously tired and needs a rest. Neither Joseph makes sense. Romario is a runs truck but he can make runs. Forde is fine.
So we will have Akeal, Obed and Forde. Is there anyone else that makes sense?

Motie is probably due a rest indeed but how is he getting that given the present nature of the series (don't think Sammy will want him to rest now) and the Bangladesh test series starting 4 days after the last t20?

You seem to have a bias against Alzharri Joseph but let me remind you of his T20I record:

Format Mat Inns Balls Runs Wkts BBI BBM Ave Econ SR 4w 5w
T20Is 32 32 720 1039 50 5/40 5/40 20.78 8.65 14.4 2 1 0

St.Lucia is where he plays his home cricket for SLK so he should be familiar with the ground.

has hossein become to predictable? since the world cup teams know that he predominantly bowls arm balls to right handed batsmen does not look that effective

If Sobers and Khanai are available I would give them a game. They will not do any worser that some in this group.

The upsside: sold out crowd.

Alzarri is a runs truck. He bowls short and down the leg side consistently. That is not limited overs bowling. After paying good money for him, he was soon benched in the IPL. My views have nothing to do with bias but fact. I actually like Alzarri and highly respect his loyalty to WI cricket. No player has been more loyal. He never says no when called. Maybe he just needs rest. He has played about 3 years non-stop, all formats for West Indies, IPL and Leewards.

Realise that it's not 2012 or 2016....

Clapping on the ground and clapping in the pavilion is not same....

Must understand.....
The squad is not balanced.....
No team can win match with 4 bowlers and one part timer...

Sammy, don't have Gayle,Bravo,Marlon,Pollard to bail you out.....take help of professionals and good assistants.....keep Reifer & Griffith as your personal advisors...
