Gwine do a DNA test to see my West African roots! I was good in Biology & based on my lineage (great grandparents - mom & dad), I'm putting 2 & 2 together & I think, I have at least 45% of West African blood running thru my veins!



PS. I would always get a good feeling when I engage with Nigerians & Ghanaians here in NYC! Btw, the South Asians as well.

In reply to sgtdjones The trickle of Dutch, I think, is insignificant...probably 10%! I'm brown skinned, if I were fair skinned like my dad, aunts & uncles, I would have claimed more!!!



PS. My dad's twin sister who turned 90 on October 1st, has been in Sweden since the 60s...she acknowledged that it's when she speaks, it's then that the Swedish people know that she's not from there!
