i just think now that Greaves give the 4th option, why not use the opportunity to play the spinner

Greaves is in, why Roach
In reply to bird
I hope after that partnership...your question has been answered
In reply to powen001
A batting partnership does not answer a bowling question.

Are you saying that Warrican't could not have made a 50?
Is Warrican't not a better batsman than Roach?
In reply to TanteMerle
No
In reply to tc1
Please check yourself.
Warrican't is about equal or better than Roach.
Also he seems to have shown some serious maturity this year.
Uh Oh! "Mout giant" is missing from this thread.
roach has so far looked the least threatening of the four fast bowlers
In reply to velo
How does the "least threatening" look to your old eyes?
In reply to TheTrail
I tell myself...They treated Mickey Holding the same way.
I believe the only bowler to escape this level of ingratitude was Malcolm Marshall...but I could be wrong...I joined this MB post his death and Social Media didnt exist when he was laid to rest either.

True words.
In reply to bird
Because Roach is a better bowler than Jason Holder, and his batting is not far behind Holder as well.
In reply to Emir
You are an idiot, based on that statement.
Pure unadulterated IDIOT.
Kemar Roach is better suited as a member of the management staff as a mentor to the young bowlers.
Not on the field. He just blocking the development path of the younger seamers in the region.
Yes he did well with the bat in the first innings and that’s good for the team……but he wasn’t selected for his batting.
I not saying a word
Seems Roach is the spinner.
how this thread doing?
I asking for sons of the soils who give their all in the bowling department to be hurried up and chased off the pitch by some so called fans

The best spinner we have.
In reply to TheTrail
They cannot stop the man that plays at Trent.
In reply to tc1
He may be a member of Carlton, by not a playing member.
Shai Hope is a playing member of Pickwick
Krigg and Jason Holder are playing members of Wanderer.
I always wonder as to how Kemar prepares for a tournament without reps.
It has been years since he played BCA local cricket, Jofra Archer don't miss a game when he is home.
In reply to openning
Does he not play at least 6 or more games in the Uk every year.
In reply to bird
Questioned ANSWERED!!!
Definitely a spinner should be played.
But not ahead of Roach. Instead of Alzarri. It is a relative position of luxury that Alzarri is the 4th best seamer. Roach, Seales and Shamar are better than him but credit to Alzarri, he has done really well in this match.
Greaves is an impressive guy, very skilful bowler. Hopefully his batting returns can keep coming.
Ps Alzarri really should do better with the bat- he has ability.

In reply to tc1
Only in the last 2 years has he played a few county games.
Kemar has not played local cricket in a long, long time.

Maybe, I do not follow Maple like year ago, my old classmate and capt has pass(RIP Sam) so I have limited information about the club.
The last time I saw Kemar was 2011.
History will be a lot lot kinder to Kemar than the present . In my opinion one the greatest bowlers and servants of West Indies cricket.
Always been a team player. We will miss him more than we think when he does hang up his boots.
In reply to Conorboy
Hang on a minute, is this somebody talking sense?
Kemar Roach has been a fine player & until recently, the primary seam bowler for years, leading the attack through some difficult times. Recently, he has maintained a good level of fitness and rarely lets the side down. His work ethic is something others would do well to take note of. Never forget how he had to change his method following serious injury. Many would have just faded away but Roach became a fine player in a different mold.
I hope he stays around for as long as he is taking wickets on a regular basis. The words fine servant come to mind, and that is something to be proud of.
In reply to bird
Why NOT Roach?
I am enjoying how this thread is maturing or morphing.
Lol
In reply to imusic
Do you think Alzarri is a better test bowler than Roach or Seales?
He certainly is not!!!
Is he better than Shamar?
No.
Is he potentially an excellent test bowler?
Yes. But what has he ever done in test cricket?
I hope the Kemar naysayers watching Walsh and Kemar interview
Just saying
