Shamar Joseph has bowled with nice consistent pace in this test match thus far. He hit over 95mph during his current spell. Pace like fire is back. Yes, I know that speed alone is not everything but it is such a great weapon to have in the arsenal.

Shamar hits 95mph

Isn't Bangla pacer doing 105mph?

No, fastest I noticed Nahid hit was 150kph, which is 93mph. He was consistently fast though, regularly up around the high 140s. Shamar was not as consistently fast over the duration of his spell but his quickest delivery was a few mph faster than Nahid. At that pace though, there is very little difference as once it is coming down in the 140s, it is an all together different proposition for the batsman.
That first spell from Nahid was the best I have seen him bowl, albeit in a relatively short career so far but he is a breath of fresh air for Bangladesh and world cricket as a whole. He gives them something that they have not had before, with that extra elite speed.

Really ?? 95MPH...Makes him WI top three fastest ever. Gotta see that.

Yes, the commentators seemed to miss it although they did speak of his express pace at times. He also bowled at that pace in the famous Brisbane test match. Great to see these young guys bending their back and hitting such speeds, best spectacle in the game for me is a real quick at full tilt.

Saw all of him in Brisbane ..did not reach 95. He rarely if ever hit 145k. and
his ave speed for a match is about 137k../
But I will keep watching..Pacers like Roberts, Holding ,Fidel and Patterson were in that range and often too in a spell.
jest saying. Even in thi game the quickest bowler is the Bangladesh pacer Rana and he is hostile and targeting as well.

Shamar Joseph to Carey, OUT
Knocks him over! He nails the yorker again and Australia go six down! Alright, this wasn't quite on yorker length, but it was fired in full at 145kph. Goes off the pad and knocks the off stump back.
hamar Joseph to Smith, 1 run
Smith takes one. 148kph, good length wide of off, he square drives on the up of the back foot to deep point. Amazing shot for one
And he getting hit around the ground at 95 too

Not to be a pedant but he regularly passed 145kph and he actually reached 94mph with his fastest ball (source cricinfo). He is no Patrick Patterson but the boy is plenty fast enough.

Somebody is cooking the books, and they get caught in the process.
These guys think they are the only ones who are watching the match. Oh well, mouth mek fah talk...

105 mph would be a world record.
