Celebrating the 100th birthday of Professor Emeritus Roy Augier, strong Caribbean regionalist, educator and master of the Socratic method of teaching history and political philosophy. Augier is a collector of art. The painting by Derek Walcott was done in the 1950s and given to Prof Elsa Goveia who shared an office with Roy. Sir Roy has given the valuable painting to the UWI museum. Daughter Simone and son Richard.
