It got some chaps in those two squads who shouldn't even be in a club XI.

Something is definitely wrong with Guyana selectors.

Chris Harry is a cameraman that works with FL sports... due to his connections they gave him a few matches and the dude can't even bowl two decent ball in an over as yet... all of a sudden he's at the National trials!

Joshua Jones is built like a heavy weight wrestler... yet they pushing him as a fast bowler. Why not Pestano instead?

Matura and Latiff are young wrist spinners... given the bonus point system ah could understand why they trying to push a wrist spinner but both of them didn't do anything to be there.

Could go on.. but it doesn't make sense. Once you and dem good or you are friends and family you could do anything in Guyana these days lol

lol

That's a lot. Surprise people actually turned up to Providence.

Lovell putting his hands up for an all-rounder spot. Hoping he makes some runs.

If they looking for a newbie batsman I would consider young Van Lange. He's 17 or so but lots of potential there... plus he made 41* in no time.

Would go with something like this for the first round

1. Tage (c)
2. Nandu
3. Anderson
4. Savory (wk)
5. Perez/Persaud
6. Van Lange/Lovell
7. Looknauth/Sinclair
8. Permaul
9. Nedd
10. Smith
11. Thorne
