You have to be able to make contact with a turning ball before you can belligerently bludgeon it to the boundary.
Who do you think Polly looks the way he does against Moeen, Rashid Khan and Adil Rashid. Or Rovman.

Could Blackwood make the Jamaican team? Hopefully, the WI team Selector Sammy does not go backward, work with the present young guys in the team, it was refreshing to read that Imlach was impressive with the gloves, it was refreshing to see Carty and Jangoo making ODI centuries, these are the guys of the future, work with them.

Again ODI and Test are clearly two different types of cricket matches, for example, Hope is a brilliant and exceptional ODI batsman but failed as a test batsman, so far Carty is following in his footsteps, but will be allowed to continue, to see if Carty is really up to the task as a test player. Meanwhile, Kirk is patiently training in India and waiting on the wings.
