In reply to 4REALQUICKS Thanks Bro. Great work.
Do you know how the points are being allotted?
In reply to voiceofreason
Not sure, could not find anything on the Windies cricket site or cricinfo.
In reply to 4REALQUICKS
First round was not as competitive as last year's season. CCC and WIA have to pull up their socks. Leewards v Jamaica should be a really good match. Maybe worth a short trip over to Antigua!
Thanks
Here's what the table looks like after Round 1

Thanks Bro!
Based on the commentators all 4 overseas players will be available for next round's match. Not sure about Aljo as he is in the ILT20 but they said he would be back to captain the team.
Selection headache as everybody contributed and its only one game but they will have to make way for Carty, Louis, Greaves, and Aljo if available. What will the team look like?
In reply to voiceofreason
Can't tell you bro.
But stuff competition.
Pennyfeather looks good in his first match. And as you say everyone contributed. Rotation of players will be key while you still don't want too many changes that could mess with team chemistry. I guess it's about figuring horses for courses.
In reply to positiveg
How does that points system work when TT who won by an innings and plenty only lies third?
In reply to PalsofMine
Weighted for Opponents played. DWL.
In reply to PalsofMine
It also seems you get more points if you use pacers instead of spinners...I think.
In reply to PalsofMine
Bonus points are the difference.
- Batting points are up to 450.
- leg spin bowling points
- fast bowling points
- fielding points
- bowling out the other team in a certain amount of overs
- batting a certain amount of overs.
That's just a few... there are more.
One of the second round matches has already finished, with Trinidad & Tobago thrashing Windwards inside three days.
Arnos Vale, Kingstown, St. Vincent - WINDWARDS vs TRINIDAD & TOBAGO
Windwards 166 (K.Hodge 126, K.Pierre 4/17, Y.Cariah 4/30) & 114 (K.Pierre 8/27)
Trinidad & Tobago 456 (C.Cooper 117, J.Mohammed 103, Y.Cariah 95, A.Jangoo 84, D.Cyrus 4/105)
Trinidad & Tobago won by an innings & 176 runs
The innings from Kavem Hodge was extraordinary. His 126 from a total of just 166 all out contributed over 75% of the total score. No other batsman even managed double figures as the Trini spinners ran through the Windwards. Veteran slow left armer Khary Pierre followed his nine wicket haul against the Combined Colleges & Campuses last week, with career best innings and match figures, eventually finishing the match with the remarkable figures of 12/44. He already has 19 wickets for the season at 7 runs apiece.
In reply to 4REALQUICKS
What a travesty just poor pierre shoud not be running through any batting attack.the trnis going to be calling for him to be in the test team next

A sad attestation of the regional batsmen and their complete inability to play any form of slow bowling. Even donkey drops would pick up five!

Leewards 244/5* (J.Andrew 66, K.Carty 55, J.Warrican 3/50)
* Denotes day-night game, still in play.
Thanks 4RQ. Carty seems to have finally found some form late in the tournament. I hope that they consider him for the A squad at least as I still think that he is one of the better batsmen in the region even though he had a horrid test career to date.
In reply to PalsofMine
Fingers crossed he will remain in the minds of those who select the A team. His ODI record alone shows that he has the skills to perform at the highest level. Class is permanent and form only temporary, so in time he will come good...and as you state, the runs are starting to flow for him again.
Time for an update on the scores, as they currently stand...
