Former assistant coach Rayad Emrit has been promoted to head coach following the resignation of David Furlonge, who has returned to Queen’s Park Cricket Club (QPCC) in a dual role as cricket manager and head coach.
Emrit’s immediate priority is to guide the Red Force to their first four-day title since 2006. He believes the team has struck the right balance between experience and youth this season, with players like Yannic Cariah, Joshua Da Silva, Amir Jangoo, Anderson Phillip, and Jayden Seales showcasing the progress made under Furlonge’s leadership.
