Shaqkere Parris

Saw this youngster in the CPL last year and watched him in his recent three innings. This kid can bat, looks to be very coachable. In the T&T game he consistently stepped down the wicket to negate the turn against the spinners. Fielding needs quite a bit of improvement. Same as Marlon Samuels in his development period.

Yes, he had a good CPL for an emerging player, he scored his second fifty for the season today.

He is definitely one for the near future,very attacking good all round batsman we would be hearing more about him.

A promising start by young Parris. His half century in the ongoing match is his second in his first four first class matches. He made those runs against a decent attack too, led by Shamar Joseph and also boasting Permaul & Sinclair. If he can kick on, maybe turn one of the starts into a hundred and show the aptitude for staying long periods at the crease, then he may well stake a claim for one of the middle order spots that are currently far from concrete in the test team. Encouraging start though, best of luck to him.
