On this day in 2015, during a World Cup game against Zimbabwe batting first West Indies lost their first wicket for the second ball of the innings. Score was on zero & Chris Gayle was joined by Marlon Samuels. Very next wicket Windies lost was Chris Gayle & it was for the last ball of the innings.
By the time pair was able to score 372 runs breaking the world record for the highest partnership in ODI history. Previous best of 331 runs belongs to Sachin & Dravid when they scored it in 1999 against Australia.
