Well, I believe Trump is just gullible, self-centered and incompetent, I don't understand why anyone who have reach the top of the political ladder would want to go down in history as the person who caused so much destruction to a working world order for America and European nations. I guess the destruction will benefit a few wealthy people, but they might be saying to themselves, what a useful idiot we have found.

Donald Trump is of sound mind. His issue is that he is void of Presidential acumen.
As soon as he finds himself in a situation that is 'over his head' he resorts to actions consistent with his (remedial) level.

Trump grew up in NY all wrapped up in his father's wealth, however, he only came to prominence during his stint as 'host' of the nationally televised reality TV series, The Apprentice, where his lines were just about confined to the now infamous "You're Fired!". Albeit he is not doing the actual firing himself, he has appointed his co-president buddy, Elon Musk to act out his 'patented' line.
He just doesn't know any better.

Yeah…they love their pocketbooks so bad that they turned against the party and President that secured their pensions, raised their retirement savings, brought the jobs back, and reduced their taxes. Instead, they chose the guys who told them that the black immigrants are eating their pets.

Hitler has often been associated with mental disorders such as bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and psychopathy, both during his lifetime and after his death. Some people may believe Trump is batshit crazy, but that may be a mistake. Trump is a master manipulator who feeds the media copious amount of lies that they are forced into repeating. His base hears these outlandish lies and takes it at face value.
It is meant to confuse and manipulate his dotish supporters who don’t fully pay attention or understand the issues.
