If the selectors pick King for the Test squad it has to be either in the Caribbean or in Asia where the flatter wickets will suit his style of play.

He doesn't move this feet well and will be vulnerable to the seaming and swinging ball in places like England, SA, NZ and Auz.

I rarely discuss selection matters given di 20 sinting and 30 sinting batting averages. That said I like attractive cricket.

I wasn’t listening so don’t know the context of the statement.

But what you posted the commentator said can be viewed as accurate.

Brandon King has only played white ball cricket for West Indies.

Would the commentators have received the same criticism had they said Kieron Pollard was a white ball cricketer, despite Pollard having a superior first class batting average than many of the test team at the time?

I like Tage, but he can’t be stuck in perpetual first gear. At some point he’s to up the tempo. Today after making his 50 was a good time to open up… get he’d wanted to make a ton, but at the same time fans need to be entertained… The attendance at sabina park speaks for itself..
