Young Johnson has regressed…
Is he working hard enough?

He was great on the SL tour and then did nothing in the World Cup or the Ireland games or since. Hoping that the stint with WIA would get him back on track.

Are the youngsters hitting enough balls at practice?
I saw a video with VJ Singh yesterday, he said when he came on tour his aim was to make money, he found out quickly in order to make money, he had to put the work in.
That was when the all-day work began.
Franklyn Stephenson accused coaches in Bim of coaching from a book, as if players are robots.

That was the first thing that came to mind after watching a meek surrender by
the Jamaica 'batters' in their first innings.
What have they been doing during the break of about two weeks. ?
It was the most pitiful batting I have ever seen even when I started watching after four wickets were down.
Then after losing Barnes and Johnson in second innings they folded as butter in sunlight.
It was as if most did not give a hoot to fight.
Were I in charge at least five would be dropped even if replacements are not up to snuff.
The new opener is worse than Brown whom he replaced for this game.
Barnes needs disciplining..with Lunch scant minutes away he gave his hand away displaying lack of
common sense..And this after being bowled down with his bat at 6th stump line in first innings.
Do these guys s watch videos or do these players of today really care ? Do coaches ?
These are reasons why I hardly watch games for any length of time.
Mediocre should not be the norm.

BTW that total of 44 is lowest in JA's overall Regional batting history...they fell to Barbados for 47 in September of 1896
when they went on tour of BG and Barbados leving their homeland for the first time.
Took them 30 years before they went back to Barbados smile
way back in 1896

A very good reminder of regional cricket history. That's why this forum is the best.

Johnson and Joshua Dorne have regressed, they both failed at u19 WC and have not performed for the Academy team. How do they recover from these temporary setbacks.

For 16 at the Mecca in 1942..Ganteaume got 9,Vic Stollmeyer 4 as openers and Gomez 3 n.o at number 8.
All others got eggs. JED Sealy 8 for 8 and Foffie Williams 2 for 8 .
It was a bilateral visit; Bdos having toured for two games in January of that year and Trinidad returned in
the summer for two. Trrinidad had won their two at home and Barbados returned the favour comprehensively.
That was a time when it was common to play on wet wickets too.
It was the middle of WWII ..this was bat and ball War lol
