Great Interview
I am really sold on him at the moment.
I must admit that when he made Windies team after the Bangy cappo thing,
I was dead against it.
However, watching him bat and following his performances over the recent years.
I would like to see him get his wish of playing test cricket.
What say ye?

He's perfect for test cricket.
Almost 40.
Lacking urgency.
Unentertaining.
wouldn't be under pressure to score runs.
No athletic skills required.
In fact test cricket should be over35s only. Since 60 and older is the core audience.
Poor man's M.L.C. Foster i.e. FC Bully but for almost just 1 season

Why be sarcastic? The man is trying his best. Even if he never makes it to the test team, the least we can do is appreciate him and his effort. One should understand how much it must hurt the man to almost get there but still not be able to make it. Be kind.

Cricket is a funny game. Sometimes the people we most expect to succeed do not and sometimes the people we don't expect much from turn out to be great. The man has been scoring runs. I think he deserves a chance even if for only one series.
I cannot support for the inclusion of Jason Mohammed.
At age 40 for a recall to WI test team is redicious no pun intended, especially when so many young players are kicking down the door.
However, I must reiterate that I support the theory that our Regional Competition Must be used as the yard stick for selection to WI teams.

Ever heard of Narine Tambe ... Mumbai Indians.....debut at 42 years.....in IPL...... Excel....played in CPL.....
Talent overcomes Age......
Jason must be in consideration for selection but..
New selection policy based on analytics data..with Sammy at helm... with Hope,King,Chase all in running....
Would be interesting....

Who are the youngsters kicking down the door???
Anyone can play for the WI right now. Even I could probably avg 25 with the bat. That seems to be the benchmark for a WI batsman now.
If the man made runs, he deserve a look in.
He played one of the best O.D.I inning i've seen against Pakistan.
WI need to get away from this 'player is too old'. We don't have a lot to choose from
It's Test cricket. Age should not matter, once the player is fit and has the acumen and skills, they should be given the opportunity. The WTC is not about building careers, it's about winning matches. Horses for courses.
Kemar Roach will be 37 in June a fast bowler, talk now.

First my apology Jason is 38 and not 40 as I inadvertently stated.
However, I’m still of the firm view that at 38 it will be a backward step to recall him .
Just to mention some of the players”kicking down the door” are: Kevin McKenzie , Joshua DaSilva , John Campbell,Kevlon Anderson and 18 year old Jewel Andrews who scored a century today .There are a few others who have already scored at least a century this season .
In reply to Massy
JMo should be in number one position, what do you have to say about K.Roach at 37.
Much young talent coming to the table. Kemar is a proven, and productive veteran. He has also done a great job mentoring the young fast bowlers. That is the difference.
His turn to walk away is forthcoming.
This will be dumb and backward ..... there are promising youngsters

Barbados fans should shut up.
It is almost 30 years without producing a world-class batsman. we have more players in our regional tournament than other Islands yet we complaining of youth not getting a chance.
Yesterday was a good opportunity for our number 3 & 4 youngsters to come the party, it was also good for Forde on a green top.
If you are not scoring runs or taking wickets locally, why select them?
I look every year at the performance of youngsters. this year's performance by our youngsters should be a concern to Barbados fans.

Kemar has been playing test cricket at the highest level since 2009.
