Though Scammy never taken a coaching course, I assure you that he can scam some WI cricket fans and Cricket Waste Indies to believe that Waste Indies cricket will be a success under him. Just watch him in action.

Did you ever noticed that he is always scribbling in a note book ? It has been said that he has been drawing the outline of the 2024 World Cup Trophy that he boasted on many, many occasions that the Waste Indies team would win....only to be soundly beaten by other teams. The WI team and fans were forced to watch the other two successful teams played in our back yard in the final. Remember we hosted the World Cup tournament and other teams, not our team, entertained the cricketing world fans. Just laughable as to where SCAMMY, THE COACH will take Waste Indies test team.....further down the gutters. We cannot beat Afghanistan, an associate team, in any format of cricket. How do you expect us to beat other high ranked cricket teams ?

I bitterly opposed and criticised his appointment....but one thing for sure...modern era coaching is very different....you have data analytics, batting coach, bowling coach, fielding coach....Head Coach have to be man manager...which Sammy is.....

At the time of appointment as white ball coach...it was mandated that Sammy would undergo Level III coaching training at Antigua...which was anything but hogwash.

Be that as it may, I like the new selection method...Hope Sammy with his managerial skills can mould a good test team....give him 1 year...1st April 2026...first thing first...who are
Batting coach
Bowling coach
Fielding coach

I still think that his appointment as white ball coach a.... without due process of law....if contested in court by other participants.... would have been interesting...

Be that as it may, the ODI team is just 12 points behind from top 6 teams.... quite turn around...West Indies were 15 points behind 9 th place team, when Sammy took over...

Now, that new selection based on analytics.... Let's wait and give at least I year...to see how Sammy manages team.....what types of pitches choosen for home matches....

Give Sammy 12 months....

What management skills? 1st thing a leader must build is trust , not fear! Sammy on instruction of Hilaire twice abandoned his men to further union-busting

Stayed home for the match vs JA because Gayle was in JA's team

Kept promising to the last moment he'd attend WIPA's awards but bailed when his cab arrived.

If you add accepting an undeserved captaincy and breaking the strike that's 4 times.
Players better understand that Sammy will "sell them down down di ribba" in a nano-second.

Gibson rather than writing a report that Australia at home was just better than an improving WI, instead, wrote; Gayle was not a student of the game. That single line of sellout self-protection was one of the main daggers that effed our cricket!
