It is grossly embarrassing that the captain doesn't know the changes to his team. He then goes on to make injudicious shots, but miraculously, he is still there.

Pitch dont seem that easy. Exaggerated bounce at times. Ball that got McKenzie was a good one. And King seemed surprised by the bounce when he got out

After the hurrah's I decided to go watch bits of the last game and tuned out depressed at everything JCB/CWI and players. Sabrina's physical plant including the field is atrocious. Looking at Kevlon's and Kirk's innings it became clear to me that vs a good and well captained international fielding team both would need luck to pass 35

Well said, our batsmen lack the mental capacity to handle 1/2 decent bowling. If any can average 35 we (they) would be lucky.

Jordan Johnson just confirmed what I am saying. Our batters lack the ability to think their way thru a stay at the crease. he comes to the wicket close to tea hits two sixes and a four in 5 balls, then gives away his wicket trying to hit a four on the stroke of tea. Do they think?
Having shots (McKenzie etc. are you hearing me?) is one thing, knowing when to apply them is another. Unfortunately, in this region, we glorify shot making not batting application.
We are not ready.
