John Campbell just dismissed.
Very SOFT out.
Short and wide from James, JC threw his bat at it and straight to gully where Khary Pierre made no mistake.

T&T Red Force vs Jamaica Scorpions
In reply to imusic
That's Campbell for you. He does the ridiculous to get himself out.
Has all the shots plus "reasonable defense" but puts o price on his wkt.
Blackwood and Mc.Kenzie putting up quite a solid resistance to some very good bowling by TT bowlers, proper batting.
22 for 2 after 11 overs.

i see that Angel has been revived. Question: does Angel make an All Star TT XI? Competition appears to be Bishop, Gray, Seales and maybe Phillip for fast bowling spots. I am leaving Bernard Julien in the allrounder category

Cariah off with the Physio some sort of injury, he was in a very good spell and was looking quite testing for Glen and Barnes.
Dese guys doan buil' innings, duh di hard wuk get een den splat! Das why had he got a chance Clevie Davidson would be a 5 times better test bat than Blackwood
Who the hell is that Umpire Shannon Crawford just gave Not Out for a blatant caught Behind to Aldine Thomas,Pierre the bowler would have had 2 wkts in 2 balls, the biggest deviation I ever saw.Should have been 6 down.

As far as Red Ball Cricket is concerned I would say
Name (Test Wickets)
1. Bishop (161)
2. Gabriel (161)
3. Dillon (131)
4. Bravo (86)
5. Seals (36)
Rampaul has 49 Test wickets but Seals has very high potential to over take that this year. Injuries (don't know how much weight was a factor) impacted Rampaul's career. He had the knack to get an early wicket.

Big knock dat
In reply to Chrissy
Big knock indeed 372 by the Scorpions is that the biggest score against Red Force, now to negotiate Mindley, Shields, Mansingh and Odean, time will tell not me.
In reply to Chrissy
Big knock and key was "Batsmanship" and match awareness.
He made regular partnerships with the lower order which
1. Continued to add to the total
2. Frustrate the T&T bowlers
3. Made the T&T bowlers spend time in the sun thus allowing his team to field in cooler conditions as we move to the late evening and into the night
Wicket in the 1st legal ball (1st ball was a no ball)

In reply to Prako
This is something we have often called out or batters about. Doing the basics and using your brain. Farming strike, shielding the lower order when necessary, knowing when to attack versus when to defend, and being vigilant at the start and end of the session. My only fault was that the delivery before the 10th wicket went Shields went for a swipe, Glenn should have gone down and had a word with him. But this is way above what I thought they would get at some point yesterday.

In reply to Chrissy
VOR has lost his touch.
Now he'll be forced to reinvent himself.
Congrats Jamaica, hope is alive.
In reply to dayne
Jamaica played with confidence and they seemed assured in all 3 days. They massively outplayed TT in every department.
TT do not deserve to be the First Class Champion with a sad performance like this. They were miserable in every department, dropping crucial changes, mindless batting and piss poor selection.
The umpiring decision that went against them in the first innings that would have gotten Mansingh out first ball, which led to the match winning 6th wicket partnership, is part and parcel of the game and TT cannot use this as an excuse. They had opportunities after that.
Congrats Scorpions!
We were completely outplayed. At Home.
A cutarse duly applied and after this pitiful performance we have no right to be Champions or even try to be.
If there was a law against one team beating up the other team so badly then Scorpions wudda been charged for[b]"Grievous bodily harm"[b]
