Mathematically Leewards with 94.6 points can still win?
It looks like a two horse race between guyana and trinidad
Guyana could have made it a one horse race had they declared earlier and set a more tempting score for Leewards to chase.

The soft Tits looking good, but the new oilee will prevail.

No play offs eh

What if they did set a tempting total and the Leewards chase it down? Leewards have nothing to lose so then can go all out in a chase ......
In reply to Kay
That is the point. Make them go for it and if they lose several wickets then Leewards would switch to survival mode which puts Guyana in the driver's seat. I understand their concern as in recent years Leewards have chased down big totals 300 plus with relative ease.

And also they needed to bat with some purpose on Day3…who’s advising these guys?

After TT melt down or beat dong by Jamaica and then watching how Guyana had come from behind, I thought they will surely close up shop, but shockingly, not sure why, they continued batting and batting until a draw for the opposition became easy.
They did a big favor to TT.

Very good point.
Our cricket sucks at all levels

Me hear se Bim like "coming from behind",me can arks tc1.
I think T and T have some pace to knock out Guyana's first 3 batsmen early which can put pressure on the batsme like Anderson Imlach, add to that how well their batsmen have served them so far,is a failure around the corner we had ours,I think we will be short of backup bowlers,Guyana will prevail

Trinidad has to beat Guyana and beat them badly. Probably not going to happen. We don’t have our two strike pacers and we underestimated Jamaica badly. That why we got beat to a pulp. Only da Silva put up any kind of resistance

Well Guyana is without Shamar and Motie.. two frontline bowlers. So it should be an even contest.
In reply to velo
Race done. TT gave it away.
In reply to anthonyp
Yeah. But Guyana took every far seriously. They were consistent. Trinidad were just as consistent up until this game. And you see it in football all the time with closely ranked evenly matched teams, slip up once and that’s the end of your title hopes. Arsenal last year in the Orem is a good example
