Prakash Ramadar cannot stop talking about how the PNM has failed the country in the runaway crime front and he is right, TT crime level is not and never will be acceptable regardless of who sit in Whitehall.

But if the UNC is serious about crime fighting, they need to be part of the solution instead of being part of the problem.

Prakash cannot, and he had a choice, take up the case of a man- apparently a well off man who is able to afford his high fees as Prakash is a senior attorney, charged with kidnapping. The very crime that has caused so many Trini's to put up jail like metal gates in their windows.

He apparently, has no issue with going in the election campaign at night across the country and talking crime, while taking a client charged with kidnapping for ransom.

UNC Not fit to govern.

The rule of law still applies. Anyone accused of a crime is entitled to representation and due process.

100%. But this isn't about representation but about good choice and bad choice. TT have many lawyers to choose from, not a candidate running on a platform against crime and particularly against the scourge of kidnapping for ransom.

In TT, there is a small elite circle among the crooks, the lawyers who take their money to represent them and the police. When put into this perspective, no politician lawyer who aspires to be the next AG should take a case like and especially so close to election that his UNC partner could actually win.

Put party aside for a moment, it is about how TT Politicians have poor morals and ethics- too many of them.

Rowley, Hinds dismiss Jeremie's endorsement of Kamla

Members of the former Patrick Manning People's National Movement (PNM) administration - including current PNM leader Dr Keith Rowley - who had served with former attorney general John Jeremie, have dismissed his association with and endorsement of the United National Congress (UNC).

Jeremie was a surprise guest speaker last night on UNC's platform at Bhupsingh Park, Penal, hosted by Opposition leader Kamla Persad-Bissessar, now increasingly hailed as the "incoming Prime Minister," ahead of the April 28 General Election.

Jeremie told the UNC audience - among his main points - that he was a child of the PNM, understood that it is frowned upon to change sides in T&T's culture and is fully aware of how he can be harmed for this, "and I stand to gain nothing for myself."

However, Jeremie, who served in the Manning governments from 2003-2007 and 2009-2010, said he is a patriot, knew Persad-Bissessar for over 30 years and slammed the "race talk," which he said came from PNM's platform recently. Jeremie also said T&T is in crisis, people were not better off now than 10 years ago and urged people to vote for change and the UNC.

Are you suggesting guilt before a trial. I would like to think you are better than that. However I know you are not.
