Rovman Powell FIRES BACK At Darren Sammy & Sammy LOSES IT!

Rovman Powell was dropped by West Indies as their captain, and after a very successful tenure, many have come to question the decision of Rovman’s reign. The coach, Darren Sammy, has felt a lot of heat from the fans but from Powell as well, who did not take this decision very well. With his statement against the coach of the West Indies, can something change in the foreseeable future and more importantly – how will this shape up the future of the West Indies’ international cricket game?

The little things that we overlook from time to time. In the video, Dwane Bravo is so distraught about the replacement of Rovman Powell as West Indies captain. The same Dwane Bravo that has the same poor Powell just sitting warming bench in the IPL. Not a word on Rovman's behalf. Please Powell, don't fall like his brother and take bad advice.

How many WI players Bravo has on that team playing ahead of Powell?

truer words have never been spoken. Sammy is a millstone on west indian cricket's neck. a mediocre man who does not accept is glaring limitations. In hindsight Gayle, bravo, narine pollard and co should have never come back for the 2012 wt20. The success of that team invented the sammy myth and we are still paying for it

Why did these guys never win before Sammy and only a few years ago, never achieve a WC victory?
I had problems with Sammy, the player. I have no problem with him coaching the T20 squad. Why he was given the other two coaching roles bothers me.

because Samuels did not play in either 2009 or 2010, when spin bowling proved to be our undoing. The same attack that samuels battered on their home wicket in the 2012 final was the same attack that caused us endless horrors in the 2009 semi final of that year's world cup. Samuels ban only ended in 2010 after the world cup in the caribbean had ended. Ironically, that same spin attack from Sri Lanka gave the 2009 side, which was largely present in 2012, terrors again. Samuels was the only man in the entire game from both sides to master the conditions and the opposition.

In addition to that, WI played that wt20 before Trinidad had gone to the Champions league, which is where Darren Ganga first showcased the radically different brand of t20 cricket that TT played and would be the template of West Indian sides from 2009, go foward. For example, nobody was using spinners inside the powerplay in t20 cricket or even odi cricket. Last person who did that legitimately was Martin Crowe in 1992 with Deepak Patel. Cronje did it in a testimonial game that was found to be at the request of a bookie. If nobody says that Badree in the powerplay wasn't essential to our success, then they're lying. And out of the champions league success, tt and wi players started to get picked consistently for the IPL. Badree, Narine, rampul, pollard, bravo, russell, simmons. All those guys above played critical roles in both wt20 successes.

Explain to us the direct relationship between the two things you mentioned. One common factor-Dwayne Bravo! Your neighbors lawn is wet but not yours- one common factor water. But, did it rain or did your neighbor water it?
Did Bravo drop Rovman from a successful captaincy or is he picking a franchise team with limits on foreigners?

Look ova dere suh Trumpian Bullshit!!!

The subject of the video is misleading, at no time did it say what Powell said in the supposed " Powell fires back at Sammy ". It might have been more truthful if the heading read " Bravo fires back at Sammy ". However, many fans will say that Sammy has the right to choose who he wants to captain the team, but I though Powell was doing a good job, he was a winning captain.

Bravoooooooooo what a production!

Still waiting for the part where Rovman fires back at Sammy!

Someone still bitter that Sammy was a more successful captain than they were.

I like Rovman as captain but he is a middle order batsman as well and he has failed to deliver consistently in that regard. Don;t bring up Sammy as he batted at 8 where his 150 s/r was crucial and he was a bowling allrounder.

Do I have to? Isn't Dwane Bravo one of the top and influential officials of the same team that Rovman sits for in the IPL? If he is so good and deserves his place in WI, how come you have him sitting on the bench? You don't see anything there? Off course, I do not expect Bravo to raise any voice against anything in India and IPL. They only have voice against WI

You sit upon a Board that refuses to pick a player in the final 11 of a franchise team after 38 games, for the same reason that we concluded that the said player lost the captaincy of an International team. If you can't pick the man in the final 11 of a lowly franchise just as a batsman, how come you can now come and publicly chastise the selector of an international team for not retaining the same player as a batsman, and hence, captain? And, then we talk of direct relationships and elementary reasoning? Pick him for the franchise if you think he can bat, then defend the international captaincy that you so believe he deserves. If he is endowed with such supreme quality to captain, and deserves to captain the International team just on that basis, then, don't let that go to waste, make him your franchise captain. Franchise limits mi foute.
