you take samuels out of both finals and wi get lix....comfortably. you take the supporting cast like simmons and russell, both of whom had ipl experience, and again is lix, wi doh even make it to the final. i've argued many, MANY times on this thread that gayle was the only dude since viv to get WI fighting as a complete unit on a consistent basis, and the results show that. I have absolutely no doubt if gayle was captain in 2012, we'd have won, ditto in 2016
