THE Tobago People’s Party (TPP) yesterday unseated People’s National Movement (PNM) incumbents Ayanna Webster-Roy and Shamfa Cudjoe-Lewis to capture both Tobago East and West seats, respectively, in the 2025 general election.
The TPP’s candidate for Tobago East David Thomas received 4,473 votes, beating Webster-Roy, who got 2,858 votes.
Meanwhile, Cudjoe-Lewis received 4,935 votes in Tobago West with TPP’s candidate Joel Sampson winning by 16 votes with 4,951.
The figures were provided by the PNM from its Scarborough headquarters last evening.
Five candidates contested the Tobago East seat, including Watson Duke, the political leader for the Progressive Democratic Patriots (PDP), who amassed 413 votes.

Thousands of laptops were given to school students. The differnce was there was a "means test" so affluent parents were not recipients.
we will see if those in the new cabinet with cases before the court will have their charges dismissed.

Further the allegations against Jones were spurious. In the first place it was an investment that did not materialise.
It was also a board decision and so it was deemed unjustifiable to bring charges against one individual and not the whole board who were instrumental in the decision
But it's ok no need to start being all apologetic about your party with the "wahataboutisms". We await the good times. 15% wage hikes for the lazy public servants who "eating grass".

How much did they pay Madero over the last 10 years? 1 million per month plus a bonus.
Fake oil, Rowley's best buddy...closed down PetroTrin and files are gone to prosecute.
Paid Paria dependents during the election....they still haven't been paid.
