I get that the Pacers are playing great basketball at this time, but the Knicks beat them during the regular season without Mitchell Robinson, and the Pacers just beat an injured Cavaliers team. Last year, the Knicks v Cavaliers series was tied 3 - 3 with game 7 at the Garden. But the Knicks were decimated by injuries — Julius Randle and Bojan Bogdanovic did not play in the series, Mitchell Robinson only played one game, OG Anunoby missed Game 7 with a hamstring injury, Jalen Brunson broke his hand in Game 7, and Josh Hart played Game 7 with an abdominal injury.

Knicks v Pacers
I think so as well...Knicks in 6
Pacers have gotten some lucky breaks with their opponents
I am happy that two former Raptors are in the conf. finals.
I think the most interesting series from hereon will be OKC - Wolves.
Btw Knicks in 5.
Wolves in 7
Then Wolves will beat Knicks in 5.
Allyuh keep on underestimating the Pacers.
They love it
OKC vs Indiana NBA Finals 2025
Okc took game1 this series is interesting the thunder have the better team in terms of talent .the twolves have arguable the best player on both sides who really looks like jirdan in his mannerisms and the way he plays
Wunna knicks fans to cocky halliburton is going to do the reggie millier choke salute send off again
Two Knicks haters in the house Big Body Brunson aka Captain Clutch has something in store for Halliburton tonight
Not sure why people are sleeping on the Pacers. I say Pacers in 6 as they have the depth and their ability to put up quick points and play at a up tempo pace maybe too much for the Knicks more methodical/half court style.
No dog in the race but I say Pacers in 6, OKC in 6.
That game tying shot by Haliburton was the killer blow.
Long ways to go though
In reply to Kay
knicks got some Reggie Miller-esque trauma with that loss
Pacers were down 14 with 2: 49 to go then abig run to tie the game and take it to OT. They have young guys who are not fearful of the big play/shot like Haliburtin, Nembhard, Neesmith,Mathurin and the experienced Siakam , Turner and Toppin.
i said it do not underestimate these pacers
Wake up call...Knicks in 6
That choker sign by Halliburton last night will come back to haunt the Pacers
In reply to Walco
Knicks controlled most of the game.
Better team on the night lost.
Regroup for G2.
In reply to nick2020
I agree. That no-call on the Turner goal-tend on that Brunson layup was the difference, but the Knicks played horrible defense down the stretch and committed some stupid fouls. And, of course, missed free throws.
In reply to Walco
Allyuh get yuh ass buss AT HOME. Doh mek excuse now bout no call
[b]In reply to Walco[/b
their defense went down because they were gassed they tried to match the fast paced style of the pacers it worked for the first half but by the 4 quarter they were huffing and puffing and bent over and could not get back on defence. i told you the reggie miller choke was going to come out
Knicks fans on track to Riot.
Watch di proceedings
In reply to imusic
If that was a ass buss, I wonder you would call what we did to Boston in that closeout game
In reply to Walco
Ask Boston fans which scenario would have gutted them more.
Then you'll have your answer
In reply to imusic
lemme see...blowing 2 twenty point leads in third qtr...close, very close
Knicks in 6
In reply to imusic
Stop shifting the goalposts nuh man. We talking about ass buss, not the emotional reactions to blowouts compared to close losses in OT.
Lakers gone fishing so I am less emotionally invested in these playoffs...but damn..I wusserer than Sir Charles with my predictions. My head says OKC will buss Wolves tail...but my heart wants Wolves to prevail in 7.
Something in my head tells me dat dem Pacers luck soon run out...but Halliburton on a mission since dem call he overrated.
pacers up 2-0 they can finish off the knicks in indiana
Spicy P to rass.
I said it during the Knicks - Boston series, Thibs is not a good coach and he has to be replaced. Can the Knicks rebound to win, surely they can but it does not remove the fact that Thibs is a clown.
1. In the 4th quarter of a need-to-win game, you sit Bronson for 3 minutes of the start of the quarter, MADNESS.
2. In the 4th quarter of a need-to-win game, you sit Hart for 5 minutes of the start of the quarter, MADNESS. Hart was not in foul trouble and McBride cannot offer the team what Hart can, get Hart in the game.
3. In the 4th quarter of a need-to-win game, you sit KAT for more than 6 minutes, while trailing, with Indiana over the limit and Robinson on the court. Of course the Pacers are going to foul Robinson (who along with Bronson were the Knicks players of the night). With limited minutes to go and Robinson no threat to score, get KAT in the game.
In reply to JoeGrine
SUrprised he sat them at that time...Pacers made their run right away
This is the kind of people thst live there
Lets go pacers
KAT 20 in the 4th.
Extends the series
In reply to velo
Wait until you learn about the "kind of people" who live in Indiana.
You should move into one of the sun down towns there. I think they share the same views you have of Black Americans.
You'll fit in.
In reply to JahJah
i expected you would come up with that moronic narrative but i keep forgetting you don't know any better .that video was specifically about the treatment of a guy by knick fans and how they behave and you bringing up sundown towns are you high?race hustler
This improbable Knicks win will likely mask the fact that Thibs is a terrible coach!
The Refs (Scott Foster) tried their best to give that win to Indiana last night. Brunson's 4th foul was an atrocious call and the travel call on KAT was terrible. The foul call on Bridges even had the TV broadcasters perplexed.
In reply to JoeGrine
There was nothing improbable about that win last night. All three games have been close and could have been won by either team.
In reply to Walco
A team down by 20 points coming back to win is an improbable win. More than 50% of all Knicks fans would have thought the game was over at that point. The benefit of hindsight is one thing, during the game is another. I sided with during the game especially with their best player in foul trouble.
In reply to JoeGrine
But Knick’s we’re up by 17 in game 2
In reply to Chrissy
And they were up by 9 points with 50 seconds to go in game 1. Don’t forget that the Knicks came back from 20 points down to beat the Celtics in the first two games of that series. So there has been a lot of improbable winning going on in these playoffs. Or maybe 20 point leads are not that big of a deal anymore in the NBA.
In reply to Chrissy
That Pacers victory was also an improbable one. No one in their right mind thought the Knicks would lose Game 1 of the Pacers series when they were up big.
In reply to JoeGrine
Your use of the word improbable reminds me of those 100-year storms that seem to occur every year

In reply to Walco
Knicks were not getting any calls last night
In reply to Walco
Improbable = not likely to happen as opposed to impossible to happen.
I rest my case on the topic.
In reply to JoeGrine
And in the words of a notorious bajan politician, I said what I said and I have no intention of “un-said-ing” it
pacers take down the knicks one win away from the nba finals led by a outstanding perfomance by the most "overated player"
In reply to Walco
Whomp Whomp Whomp
When it comes to basketball fundamentals, the Knicks are painful to watch.
Thibs is an outstandingly poor coach. To wit.........
1. You are down in the 4th quarter and drawing up plays for Bridges with Bronson on the floor.
2. Does Bronson have it written in his contract that he can only play a certain number of minutes?
3. Starting Robinson was checkmated brilliantly by Indiana last night. They sped up the game and led fast break points by over 20. With both Robinson and KAT in simultaneously, (a) you are getting BOTH your bigs tired at the same time (b) you are only getting scoring from 4 players at best (c ) you are encouraging the Pacers to run at you early. Get Hart back as a starter.
4. No way I am resting Bronson for 8 minutes + in a game irrespective of the score, that alone should get him fired. Bronson is trending towards an all-time great and Hall-of-Fame career.
5. If you want to be creative, stop giving Bronson that start of 4th quarter rest especially after giving him 8+ minutes earlier. This is the playoffs, I am down by 1-3 in the series, my best player must be on the court.
6. The team is a turnover happy outfit (Hart was the main culprit), that is on coaching. Good teams will punish you as Boston did (winning every game where the Knicks were very loose with the ball) and Indiana is doing now.
A better coach and the Knicks wins this series handily.
In reply to JoeGrine
So, the Nova Knicks did not get it done in Game 4...hope they play better in Game 5
In reply to ray
at all. Both Hart (turnovers and hesitant to take shots) and Bridges (buckets not falling) were off. I wonder if Thibs can find and dust off Kris Jenkins and suit him up.
Poor spike lee having ptsd cant understand why the knicks cant beat the pacers in the playoffs should have stayed in cannes and promoted your film bruh
In reply to velo
Nothing poor about SPike Lee
In reply to Walco
anybody but OKC
In reply to Jumpstart
Why do you dislike OKC?
In reply to velo
Pacers Fan Stabs Knicks Fan
In reply to Walco
Terrible those things should never happen
In reply to velo
Agreed
Haliburton is over-rated.
They have to slow the Pacers down in Game 6
In reply to ray
I have not been able to watch the last 2 games, but from what I read, the Knicks started applying more full court pressure last night and were able to slow down the Pacers. Was that the case?
In reply to Walco
COuple things:
1. Bronson came out shooting and hitting in the first quarter. He was on his game
2. Tibs played the bench, and they played excellent defense which slowed down the Pacers. Bronson got enough rest which made him stronger in the fourth quarter
3. Haliburton was a no show
4. I think the bench is very important in slowing down the Pacers, plus they hit some big 3s
In reply to ray
Thanks. I think Halliburton would be a legit NBA superstar if he was more consistent. Too often he has games like last night. But he is still relatively young.
If the Knicks can (1) control the pace of the game, especially Haliburton's game (2) limit their turnovers they can take the series.
I have been giving Thibs poor reviews, however, his benching of Cam Payne has worked wonders.
In reply to JoeGrine
From all reports, two more defensive efforts like last night just might do the trick.
In reply to Walco
yep...Bridges is picking up Haliburton full court to slow them down
Close game so far
Pacers step on the gas. 12 point lead early in the 2nd half
Shades of Reggie Miller…Pacers dropping threes like peas
Knicks completely destroyed..
Indiana to the Finals
Congrats to the pacers not this year knicks
In reply to velo
Towns played like the Coward of the Country
The better team prevailed .....
1. The nonsense of starting your three big does at least two things to harm NY (a) you are, relative to Indiana, not a high scoring team, now you have only limited scorers to start the game (b) you will get your two bigs tired simultaneously (c ) even having Bridges on Haliburton would slow the fastbreaks as Indiana is going to run with two bigs on the floor.
2. Get your team to limit turnovers.
3. The better coached team won.
