I'd put a tie between taylor and bishop. one had his career ended by west indian stupidity and one had his career ended by crippling injuries. both were unplayable on their day and their numbers are similar

Subjective of course, but I always had Valentine over Ramadhin but with so many great and wonderful
fast men, can either be considered in top Ten ?

Taylor should not be there, Roach and Valentine are ahead of him. But there can never ever be a top 10 WI bowlers' list
without the name Garfield St. A. Sobers, if only for his seam bowling! He has more wickets than Wes Hall and when he
retired the only West Indian who had more test wkts than him was Lance Gibbs who two yrs later became the world record
holder for test wickets snared.

i also do not see Taylor in the top 10 before Roach. Bishop's career was perhaps too short to make it. I would definitely reconsider Nos. 9 and 10 on that list.

Sort the list by strike rates. Then factor in average. Then look at intangibles

What criteria did you and Alien 21 use to arrive at this conclusion?
Here are some others:

Garfield Sobers (the bowler )
Al Valentine
Merv Dillon ------Malcolm said he is one of the best but he is too wutlesslol
Patrick Patterson
Collin Croft
Keith Boyce
Vanbern Holder
Dillon over Taylor ---------- Taylor is Slipfeeler's pick.
Valentine over Ramadhin

Some old-timers told me to write this.lol
