Does he have an “S” in his name??
In reply to StumpCam
Lol no comment...
A lot of big ones were involved in the last one to make it disappear... let's see how this one goes.
If they keeping protecting and hide and cover for those predators those kind of thing will continue to happen , time far gone to expose those guys to name and shame them and also jail them .
In reply to anthonyp
Its a shame an a tragedy IF proven to be true .....so what happens now in terms of his participation in the upcoming series...of course innocent until proven guilty but what frame of mind will he be in???
In reply to CCW
You just gave away the subject's identity.
In reply to Drapsey
I didn't name him an as i said innocent until proven guilty.....yuh reckon this will remain a secret for long???.....an what happens if they suddenly say he has picked up an injury hence cannot play?? ....without implicating him in anything external....let's not fool ourselves!!
Why get the cricket boards involved at this stage? Isn't this a civil matter which should firstly be firmly dealt with by local law enforcement. After he serve his time then the cricket boards can do whatever they want.
I noticed in the article that attempts to file reports with the Guyana Police Force were unsuccessful. How ridiculous this is?
In reply to Kay
This is Guyana you know. Now that it made social media the police will finally take the report. It's how things work here unfortunately.
Once yuh is a big boy you are exempt from the laws of Guyana.
In reply to StumpCam
In reply to anthonyp
Not a headline you wanna see on a cricket forum. There are too many negatives
already. Just hope this will be dispensed with in the best way for the best
with all involved...then disappear.
Disappointing, real stupid
In reply to camos
This is really a conundrum with so many Guyanese players with an “S” in their names.
Shimron
Shamar
Shepherd
Sherfane
Sinclair
Shiv
Sars
In reply to Kay
In reply to Narper
Well WhataApp and texting are acceptable evidence these days plus he tried to pay off the victim to settle ...
In reply to StumpCam
If you check social media his name was leaked, and if you Google that name there was a charge back in 2013 for the same thing with that name (could be a different person with same name, no picture was there)
In reply to KrishManohar
Who is the player
In reply to KrishManohar
How many of these guys were around in 2013?
In reply to camos
In reply to StumpCam
It happened just before the player left Guyana..
Fat boy, Shep and Sherfane ain't return to Guyana as yet.. from de IPL, WI tour of England and now the MLC... so dem fellas marked safe
In reply to anthonyp
The name calling all over social media
In reply to KrishManohar
Don't think the 2013 story is with him.. a local social media influencer had a live discussing it on Facebook.
I personally knew about the one that was reported... big ones got involved and everything disappeared. Now another victim.
In reply to Arlo
Yep.. its all over social media. Whoever got access will easily know its who.
In reply to anthonyp
Got it, I'll see how it plays out.
In reply to Kay
Civil or criminal?
Am I the only one who don't have a clue who it is?
In reply to ray

In reply to ray

In reply to Joshua
What do you mean by what does it matter who it is???
Why should it not matter...???
It's assault, should we ignore who it is instead of painting everyone as a possible suspect?

In reply to sgtdjones
Strange that Joshua who is/was a player rep don't find that important.
In reply to sgtdjones
WHy should the President be involved...it's a criminal matter, that's why you have a POlice force
In reply to ray
The President should be pissed off...
It's obvious the police are fucking stupid and cross-examining her.
Get a medical report.
Her humiliation by those idiot COPS made her go to the newspapers.
Take the fucking report COPS and let a judge decide...
That's how the law works...

In reply to bolls
You’ll definitely get banned from here if you continue down this vein, I’m sure.
In reply to ray
Sorry for misunderstanding my statement was along the lines of it shouldn’t matter who it is the person should be held accountable if guilty.

I am not aware of who Joshua is.
But if he is as you noted, he should stay the fuck away from West Indies cricket.
So it's the old boys club vs. women...wasn't such a reality in the early 1900s.
Is this character still involved in West Indies Cricket?
In reply to bolls
You’ll don’t have facts and you’re making serious unfounded allegations. Stop now
In reply to brians_da_best
ITS THE FACT AND ITS ALL OVER SOCIAL MEDIA. DAT EEDIOT IS A SERIOUS SHADY CHARACTER.
In reply to ray
I could be mistaken, but I believe someone dropped a CLUE on this thread!

In reply to sgtdjones
Lol the President pissed off?
This is from one of the social media activist that broke the news...
In reply to bolls
There is nothing. Now I’m done engaging with a fool like you
In reply to anthonyp
WHATTTTTTTTTTTTTT....
The President is involved....!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Send me his name, the alleged rapist, please. I would send an email to this moronic president.
I would list the alleged involvement of the president and his office in this cover-up.
11 women were all assaulted, and he is protecting a rapist.
What the fuck is going on in Guyana?
I do volunteer work for Zonta International ...I would get them involved to embarrass his rass.
Zonta stands for women’s rights. We say NO to Violence Against Women and Girls
After what I saw happened to the Adriana Younge's case I have zero confidence in the Guyanese justice system ( for lack of a better word) .
In reply to sgtdjones
I ALREADY SPILLED THE EEDIOTS NAME. NOW DO THE DUE DILIGENCE.
In reply to bolls
I will look for it in your post I must have missed ...Thanks.
Oh Nooooo...not him.
Reminds me of Holding when Pakistani players were caught with bookies.
What he stated live on air.
In reply to sgtdjones
Note that libel laws apply on the internet. Keep names to yourselves or use private messages.
If legal authorities from any relevant jurisdiction contact CC.com you can be sure we will 100% cooperate with them.
And I'm happy to ban as needed.
In reply to Arawak
Sure, I agree libel laws exist....If I violate, give my details.
I have lawyers; I'm not concerned.
An alleged rapist of 11 women, and we are protecting him?
What about the women? They must suffer in silence owing to the fact they are not cricketers that are well known.
I noted I would get Zonta to write to that dumbarse President in Guyana.
In reply to StumpCam
In reply to sgtdjones
Dude...calm down...you want to go calling people names without proof..you looking for serious trouble
In reply to Arawak
Dat simple - thank you.
In reply to Chrissy
That idiot bolls needs to be banned

In reply to sgtdjones
Dude, stop embarrassing yourself.
Are you now going to scour the entire planet to weed out all the sex pervs and accused and alleged sex pervs?
Eh, "Perv Finder Man"?
This going anywhere
Are authorities involved?
In reply to SnoopDog
In reply to sgtdjones
Let the police and the prosecutors do their jobs.
You're just making an exhibition of yourself with all this frothing at the mouth with fake outrage and self righteous indignation.
In reply to SnoopDog
What frothing at the mouth...by what showing incompetence in Guyana?
The victim went to the police station...did you not read what they did?
Let a judge decide, not a police officer. She had evidence. They left the police station.
The family had to go to the newspapers.
In reply to sgtdjones
Go to Guyana with your super "Perv Finder Man" suit and catch all the pervs and alleged pervs there.
The police and prosecutors can go on vacation while you do your thing.
In reply to SnoopDog
In reply to sgtdjones
Sorry wrong thrwad
In reply to SnoopDog
Based on your responses, it shows where you stand, after a compliment.
Avoid , avoid ....you will, as your profession usually does and it lives.
As usual, an idiotic response from an officer of the court.
I am not surprised, as the Chinese saying goes, "Water rises to its own level eventually."
To the women that are expressing what happened... Keep up complaints till authorities believe you.
To the ones that haven't, please do. This rapist must be removed from society.
Be Aware!!!! Alleged Rape Allegations against Guyanese Fast Bowler Cricketer
He must be given the opportunity to prove his innocence, but what is puzzling is the article mentions 11 rapes???
I sent a copy to the President of Guyana and CWI , asking if these allegations were known to them
In reply to Joshua
Sick
In reply to sgtdjones
They need to get him the help he needs. Allegations are hideous and numerous. The victims should also get the support they need. However, he deserves his day in court because he is innocent until proven guilty. I don't think these stories are going to go away, not in 2025.
In reply to Arawak
This is now everywhere. I would be surprised if he finishes the game, as WICB want to show they take the allegations extremely seriously. Tragic all round.
In reply to Joshua
Its going to get worse when the international media in england and australia who consider themselves pillars of morality and decency .
In reply to velo
Yeah SportsMax reporting on it opened the gates. Most international media wouldn’t have paid attention to newspapers in Guyana.
In reply to bolls
I was not doubting your post ...my
Name isn't in Indian Media....but surely all.over cricket related social media....will hurt him badly and his t20 league prospects.....
In reply to pooranian
From your post, you’re assuming that he is guilty and he may well be. If that is so shouldn’t you be more concerned about the victims rather than his pecuniary interests?
In reply to CricSham
Now that I read the reports in detail..yes wi must look into seriously..if not it's image will get tarnished.
Of Course..feel bad for the victim ... Looking at reports..a serial offender.. Judgement still to be delivered..
Indian media not hiding names..
There's also another WI cricketer being accused of rape during last year's CPL...
In reply to Kay
Criminal not civil
In reply to Joshua
What kinda journalism is that though? In the introduction dude says eleven then further in the article he says his inbox has been inundated with DOZENS
OF ACCOUNTS RE THE SAME PERSON! Is he saying that he got dozens of claims but only found 11 credible or his he is embellishing or just lying? Indian media can be sued because all the reports out of Guyana says the 11 cases are a combination of rape, sexual assault and or unwanted advances.
Cricfan like some others look inward if you find humor in this. If not sister, aunt, niece you at least have a mom and very likely female acquaintances.
In reply to Brerzerk
Indian reports are garbage. I would only rely on the articles in Kaiteur news and the SportsMax interview segment.
What a sad, sordid situation and if true especially for the victims. We humans are mostly flawed but some have fatal flaws.
If this is true lots will have to be done if justice is to be served; especially for the victims. Part of justice is mercy and as hard as it may be for some to stomach genuine rehabilitation even if it takes 20-30yrs.
Given all of this news and attention to it, some Legends furiously drinking water and mindin dey business.
In reply to Joshua
some seriously sick stuff
and if he is guilty should never play any cricket again for his home country or region
In reply to allan
Let due process play its course innocent until proven guilty.
In reply to allan
In reply to JoeGrine
Only a sage mind will note that
Haha
