Microscope on him so while the timing of Sammy's comments were poor it throws Holstovk into the limelight. Let see if he's brave enough to continue with his shenanigans

A shocker wasn’t easy

Point is…….umpiring isn’t an easy job. The authorities recognize that which is why they go to lengths to support them.

There may come a time when there are no umpires and every decision is made via technology.

That said, there is a difference between on field umpiring and 3rd umpire with all the technology and time available to them.

As Holdstock in his role of 3rd tv umpire made these decisions, it shows that those decisions, even with the aid of technology, prove to be challenging as well. They were not clear cut decisions……

It brings into question whether the traditional protocol regarding doubt should be given to the benefit of the batsman, is still in effect.

If he were simply incompetent, his decisions would’ve affected both teams — but that’s not what we’re seeing. These people have clear biases. We live with it every day, bro!

Sure, there are bad umpires, and the ones you mentioned might fall into that category. But they made their mistakes in real time, on the field, as standing umpires, not as third umpires with access to all the technology and slow-motion replays.

Tell him to try that nonsense with India — it wouldn’t fly! But we West Indians? We’re too passive, man.

Yes he has technology but it isn’t hard like you say, IF you are trained

Absolutely correct....but whether West Indies Cricket authorities have the courage to lodge a formal complaint against the racist.....Indian have done in past...Sri Lanka has done...
