THE UNIVERSITY of the West Indies, Seismic Research Center (UWI SRC) has advised the National Disaster Management Agency of Grenada (NaDMA) of increased seismic activity at the Kick-‘em-Jenny (KeJ) Submarine Volcano.
The unrest event began at 10:00 (local time) on the night of Wednesday August, 27, August 2025.
Approximately 800 tremors were detected during the period 10:00 p.m., on August 27, to 8:00 a.m., on August 28. The largest events measured so far are in the range of Magnitude 2.2–2.4.
