I was going thru the SOPs, WIN has made inroads into both PPP and APNU, more so APNU. Looks like PPP will squeeze thru though.

Newsroom is saying that Ali win... all of us knew that already. Dem ain't saying by how much though...

Some saying that they won Region 4 for the first time in history... that's possible because WIN took a whole lot of votes from APNU in Region 4.

Sanction man is also the new opposition leader.

It is... anything lil fancy is a luxury vehicle. Your friend think he's a politician? lol

The taxes on a two door pickup is just under 2500 USD... if you add two more doors you gonna pay upward of 40k USD in taxes... de big boys could roll in one with their duty free though

So PPP is claiming a majority win... here are their numbers

PPP - 207,859
WIN - 89,458
APNU - 67,481
FGM - 3708
AFC - 2831
ALP - 798

Link

However, those numbers look iffy.... I find it strange that only 156k people voted in Region 4. In the last election over 200k people voted.

The official numbers for Region 9 and 10 were released by GECOM which shows that for Region 9 the numbers are understated by 400+ votes each for PPP and WIN... for Region 10 its understated by around 2000k for WIN.

At this point its best for us to wait on the official numbers from GECOM...

Stop dude you have been fueling rumors all day long. I believe many people stayed home instead of voting any other party than PNC. Perhaps many are still scarred from 2015 to 2020 plus the 5mth attempted election rigging.

According to the numbers above

PPP=36 seats
WIN =16 seats
APNU =12 seats
FGM =1 seat

How does FGM get a seat when we calculate 5725 votes per seat?
Yo have 64 seats allocated and that last seat is determined by the number of votes "left over" and that 3708 votes is more than what is left over for the other parties.

How is it rumors when the official numbers released by GECOM are completely different from what the PPP used to declare victory?

They will win but no way they are winning with such a big margin.

207859/372135=55.85%

65*0.5585=36.303

According to APNU maths there’s no 0.30 of a person so you have to round up making it 37 right???

Therefore 37+16+12=65

As per PPP numbers

372,135/65 = 5,765 per seat.

Seat allocation will be as follows

PPP - 36
WIN - 16
APNU - 12
FGM - 1

However, chances are the numbers will change... based on official numbers for these regions the votes for each parties are understated... its highly likely that its the same for the remaining one.

Reg. 8
PPP - 1513
WIN - 730
APNU - 16

Reg. 9
PPP - 517
WIN - 327
APNU - 50

Reg. 10.
PPP - 879
WIN - 1878
APNU - 963
