According to the numbers above

PPP=36 seats
WIN =16 seats
APNU =12 seats
FGM =1 seat

How does FGM get a seat when we calculate 5725 votes per seat?
Yo have 64 seats allocated and that last seat is determined by the number of votes "left over" and that 3708 votes is more than what is left over for the other parties.

How is it rumors when the official numbers released by GECOM are completely different from what the PPP used to declare victory?

They will win but no way they are winning with such a big margin.

207859/372135=55.85%

65*0.5585=36.303

According to APNU maths there’s no 0.30 of a person so you have to round up making it 37 right???

Therefore 37+16+12=65

As per PPP numbers

372,135/65 = 5,765 per seat.

Seat allocation will be as follows

PPP - 36
WIN - 16
APNU - 12
FGM - 1

However, chances are the numbers will change... based on official numbers for these regions the votes for each parties are understated... its highly likely that its the same for the remaining one.

Reg. 8
PPP - 1513
WIN - 730
APNU - 16

Reg. 9
PPP - 517
WIN - 327
APNU - 50

Reg. 10.
PPP - 879
WIN - 1878
APNU - 963

Will Norton step down from Leadership?

total votes=372,135
Number of seats= 65
Votes per seat=5725

PPP=36.30 seats
WIN=15.62 seats
APNU=11.78 seats
FGM=0.65 seats
DEFINITE
PPP=36
WIN=15
APNU=11
So we have 3 seats to allocate
0.78 for APNU
0.65 for FGM
0.62 for WIN
0.30 for PPP

I hope this helps
P.S I forgot to include AFC 0.50 seats and ALP 0.14 seats

GECOM declared results for 9 out of the 10 regions.. only regiona 7 outstanding. That shouldn't have a big effect of the seat allocation.

Total voters - 428,335
# of votes per seat - 6,590

PPP - 238,921
WIN - 103,968
APNU - 77,015
FGM - 4,326
AFC - 3,195
ALP - 910

Seat allocation
PPP - 36
WIN - 16
APNU - 12
FGM - 1

PPP should be thanking sanction man.. if it wasn't for him ah don't think they would've won Region 4 lol

Gonna be interesting to see how he handles himself in parliament. To be fair he didn't do too badly for a new party that was formed three months ago.

What are his academic credentials? Is he a good public speaker?

In reply to Kay

His credentials are under sanctions and investigations.
Can’t really be made public. See why education is important especially in a country that’s moving into the first world economically. WIN voters have been propagandized by social media.

Nonsense!!!!
Trump is an Ignoramus!!!
Totally uneducated and narcissistic and he is the President of the United States. He does not understand basic things such as economics, fiscal policy and has no knowledge of history.
He is petty, jealous and completely self absorbed and vindictive. The WIN leader is a deeply flawed man BUT he is a far better human being than Forest Trump!!!

Dr Dukes, first of all I would not compare any sane human being to the billionaire psychopath. The emperor has no clothes.

We’ll discuss that WIN leader don’t worry. Pre oil, WIN leader had assets challenging the entire government of Guyana. HOW?
Really HOW?

So just when you think its over...

APNU asked for a recount of Region 4... this was approved. They are planning to ask for recounts in 7 and 10 too.

WIN asked for a recount in 8 and it was denied... a whole long post on their social media page about it... showing the discrepancies on the declaration from GECOM.

Guyana nice badd big grin
