Given the numerous problems affecting Haiti, why is the team so good? I would argue that they are the best team in the Caribbean in terms of grit and determination!

@XDFIX

For Haiti all 24 players are overseas-based and recruited from France and USA especially.

JAMAICA 0 - CURACAO 2

Curacao deserved the win, from the elementary taking your chances to possession based football, Jamaica was outplayed.

GK : BLAKE (6.0) cannot be faulted for the two goals.

LB : BELL (6.5) held his own especially with most of the opposition attack down the flanks.

CB : PINNOCK (6.0) nothing special from him tonight.

CB : KING (8.0) fluffed a couple headers, otherwise, was flawless in defense and arguably, Jamaica's most dangerous attacker.

RB : LEMBIKISA (6.5) like Bell had to do a lot of defending yet found time to combine well with his right winger.

CM : REID (5.0) was almost invisible throughout the game.

CDM: FRAY (4.5) I want to stay above the fray here, however, he confirmed what I always thought, he is a waste of time.

M : RUSSELL (5.0) missed a first-half chance and was his usual clumsy self.

RW : CAMPBELL (7.0) consistently threatening but a tad selfish. He belongs.

F : CARDAMATREI (5.0) a charitable grade in part because he cannot be faulted for not having midfielders who could get him the ball. I cannot recall him getting two passes from out of midfield.

LW : CEPHAS (7.0) one of his better games where he was a menace with his speed and looking to cross.

*****************************************************************************

SUBSTITUTES:

ANGLIN (6.0) - hard running and took a long range shot which forced the Curacao GK into a fine save.

RICHARDS (6.0) - fearless and threatening.

NICHOLSON (5.0) - more talking and gesticulating than playing.

DIXON (6.0) - made a couple good plays that should have resulted in goals.

ANDERSON (5.0) - nothing to write home about.

COACH (4.0) - when your midfielders are grading out at (5.0) - (4.5) and (5.0) I ask you to say after me - "against decent teams, our bias against Ravel Morrison will be punished as we need someone who can control the flow of the game." Our forwards will continue to struggle against top teams if there's no midfielder to provide those defense piercing passes.
