It is a tough call my friend as unfortunately World championship alone doesn't pay the bills. 70k only if you win gold? Yes it gives you fame that may get you some endorsements but that is not a guarantee. So athletes have to use these various leagues to supplement the minimal income received at the World Championships.

Alfred is fine. she ran in the diamond league final on Aug 28 and dropped a 10.76. She turned on the gas and blew up Tia Clayton in the last part of the race. that was Tia's only opportunity to make the WC, if she was a Diamond League winner.

Just for argument let’s say things get iffy and she can’t run again (not wishing anything on her).would you say if was worth it constantly aggravating the situation?, if she gine continue in that vein to make fans proud, now is the time to start looking fuh a side hustle……

Informed observations. Alfred has champion pedigree she overextended for whatever reason. Her problem is recovering pronto and returning to top form. The chasing pack not only caught up with her she's in the rear-view mirrors of MJ and Clayton with Jackson and Richardson just off the pace.
