That fcuking kid (the Guyanese, not the Indian one) seems to think that poking around all day with zero intent to score is how you bat at the highest level of the game.

The moment I saw him block a rank half volley from Siraj I knew it was only a matter of time before he got out. That was the perfect ball to put away and get his innings going in a positive manner.

I'm curious to know his approach to batting in Guyana domestic cricket or even dung heap Orlando club cricket.

@SnoopDog

What’s even funnier is the chap literally just came from playing Minor League T20 you would think he would still have some kind of urgency in his batting lol

@WIfan26

@WIfan26

Thanks.

It's funny because Shiv was a master at working and maneuvering the ball into gaps. Shiv was sometimes a slow batter but his intent was always to score runs and score runs he did.

This bannuh though thinks that just being out there blocking and poking with zero intent to score is good batting.

Shiv is a scout?

No, he didn't pick himself.

But when you get picked and you get a second shot at reviving your Test career surely you would change your approach and try a new approach which gets you runs or at least gets the shine off the new ball, gets your team a decent total before the middle order comes in, puts the pressure back on the bowler etc.

What I saw last night was the same ole shit from this guy. Seems to me that there was no introspection of his game and the reasons he was dropped from the team.

Goodness gracious me! He was striking at 117 in backyard lickit junk cricket against bowlers who just got to the game on time after doing morning groceries.

I'm done. Ah gone.

@SnoopDog

LOL we stop giving these kids licks that’s the problem!!!

Aja Chanderpaul probably got too old and weak when he was training Tage!!!

Shiv need to give him some wild cane in he backside!!!

Shits and giggles aside there is a place for his style of batting in Test cricket he just needs to show the bowlers some intent otherwise he’s just a walking wicket!!!
